Pet care is a natural and enjoyable part of my everyday routine. I structure my days around the pets I host — starting each morning with walks, feeding, and playtime, and keeping plenty of breaks throughout the day for attention, cuddles, and outdoor time. Since I work from home (or adjust if you don’t), I’m around to give pets constant care and supervision. Our building’s pet-friendly spaces — including the enclosed garden, rooftop terrace, and pet spa — make it easy to keep them active, relaxed, and happy throughout the day. In the evenings, I make sure everyone gets one last round of outdoor time, dinner, and lots of affection before winding down for a calm night. Caring for pets isn’t just a task for me — it’s part of my lifestyle and something I truly enjoy every day.

When caring for pets in my home, I make sure they feel completely safe, comfortable, and loved from the moment they arrive. I keep a calm, clean environment and tailor each pet’s routine to match what they’re used to at home — including their feeding schedule, walks, and preferred play or rest times. Our building is wonderfully pet-friendly, with an enclosed garden downstairs for safe outdoor time, a rooftop terrace for fresh air and sunshine, and even an on-site pet spa for extra pampering. Pets have plenty of space to relax or play, and I’m always nearby to give them attention and supervision throughout the day. When I care for pets in an owner’s home, I do my best to maintain their regular routine and environment so they feel secure and happy. I follow all care instructions closely — from feeding and walks to medication and bedtime habits — and make sure the home is left tidy and cared for. In both cases, communication is key: I send daily photo and video updates so you can see how your pet is doing and feel completely at ease while you’re away.

I love keeping pets active, curious, and happy during their stay! Depending on their personality and energy level, we’ll enjoy a mix of playtime, exercise, and relaxation. Dogs love our enclosed garden, where we can play fetch, explore, or just enjoy some sunshine. The rooftop terrace is perfect for safe walks, training sessions, or quiet lounging with a nice view. For more relaxed pups (and cats!), there’s plenty of cuddle time, gentle brushing, and enrichment games like snuffle mats or treat puzzles. If your pet enjoys a little extra pampering, I can also schedule time in our on-site pet spa for grooming, baths, or brushing sessions to keep them fresh and comfortable. Every pet has their own idea of fun, so I always adapt activities to match their needs — whether that means long walks, interactive play, or cozy downtime together.

Matei has looked after 1 of my dogs, and happily arranged a meet and greet with my more anxious dog, before he was due to look after her. Matei is very understanding and flexible, and open and transparent; his love of animals is clear, and he caters to your pet’s individual needs. Franx came home in a great mood, happy and playful, after spending the day with Matei & his wife. Fees are very reasonable and affordable. I’d definitely recommend Matei, & look forward to him caring for my dogs again in the future.
Matei was great, punctual for the drop off / collection and gave us regular updates. Gaia was happy to stay with the host and came up in a good mood. Recommended!
