Pet care experience
One of my favorite things to do is to send photos of pets to their owners when their owners are away. I love working with all animals, they bring joy and delight to this world and deserve great care. Have been cat/dog/bird/lizard/chicken/you name it sitting for the last 10 years. I enjoy being reliable and flexible for friends, family, and “brand new friends”/strangers :). Every animal has different needs; I have years of experience when it comes to giving pets medication. Let me help out and allow you to relax while you’re away knowing your furry little one is doing well.

Wonderful as always!
Maryjane did a wonderful job taking care of our two pups while on vacation. She sent daily updates with pictures & followed my crazy dog mom requests. We came home to a clean house & two happy dogs. We will definitely be requesting her services in the future!
Thanks again Maryjane! Our daughter is in town with her diabetic dog. Maryjane was able to give her injection and watch for any changes after. We have two other dogs she had to juggle as well lol You can always depend on fantastic care from Maryjane!!
Maryjane did a wonderful job housesitting with our 3 dogs. She sent pictures frequently and gave us nice updates on how they were doing. We will use her again!

I feel like the best kind of care is following instructions given to me by pet owners. They know their animals and they know what their animal needs. The one thing I’ve learned over the years is every animal is different. Also paying attention is very important. When I first meet a pet, I try to establish their norm/baseline and if they act in a way that seems not their norm, I always reach out and let the owners know about it. Quick and clear communication goes a long way. All in all, it is important to stay safe, and to create an environment for the animal that is trusting and kind.

It’s always helpful to know what level of training the dog has so I can have realistic expectations for each animal. I like to try to keep things as similar as possible to their daily lives as far as where they eat, where they sleep, and what activities they do. I believe that consistency provides the pet with minimal stress while their owner is away.
A typical day
Play and exercise are incredibly important, especially when the pets are missing their owners. I love taking walks and sometimes driving over to the dog park to grab fresh air and to run the dogs around.

Availability
I do work full time as an office manager in the Roseville area, but I do have the ability to stop during my lunch breaks for pets who may require additional potty opportunities or medications. My schedule is very routine and allows to accommodate most situations.
