I have had dogs since I was 16. Cats since I was 20. I have also owned various other animals, including livestock. My schooling helped me learn general animal care and I have had the same dog trainer for 20 years. Our pets have regular vet care. I pet sit for friends and family often, both at their homes and in our own home. Just informational, I do live with males, including teens, who have attended dog training classes and help when I need to step out if the house. I also have a very large yard for lots of running and exercise.

Marybeth and family took good care of our dog Toby for a week. I believe Toby had as good a vacation as we did! He got to play with Zoey and keep an eye on the cats. He spent time relaxing on the back deck watching the chickens. Working out the details with Marybeth was easy and she's quick to respond. She's obviously good with animals.

Schedule
I work fill time, but remote. I can choose to be from home or in office so am available to watch pets at home all day, when needed.

Safety, trust & environment
We have a large fully fenced yard. We do have chickens, but they are gated in their own area. I have a pet gate to keep dogs from going downstairs unattended and a door as backup. I provide a pet water fountain for constant fresh and flowing hydration. Pets get regular treats and training refreshers to keep their minds sharp and engaged. My house is inundated with both cat and dog toys for constant entertainment.

A typical day
My 3 year old absolutely loves other dogs and cats. Besides her entertaining guests, I have a large back yard to explore. It is fully fenced in and pet safe. For walks, I live near a school for safe walks (no busy streets). I do work during the day, but the outside access is next to my desk so I am able to watch anyone outside and let them in or out as they wish.
