Walks, Love, and Snuggles

I have been casually taking care of friends’ dogs for many years; and of course have loved and trained so many furbabies of my own. (8-140 pounds as variety is the spice of life). I have always had at least two or more dogs. However, my current good boy is living his best life as an only child. So, as I move toward semi retirement and a desire for a schedule change; I’d like to offer the extra space in my heart to other Anthem area pets for walks; drop in visits; medication; potty breaks; etc. . Would love to schedule a “meet and greet.”. Also experienced with reptiles of many kinds. I look forward to meeting your family. My current schedule is flexible. I am always walking my dog every morning and look forward to the additional exercise. Early morning walking hours in summer are best. But midday visits and potty breaks are available as well. Winter walks will be available before 5 PM. Walks and drop in visits will be catered to your dog’s specific needs, desires, and energy level. *If your dog is a member of Anthem dog park, Play dates can also be arranged.

Mary has helped care for our dogs for years while we were out of town. However, one of my favorite memories was when we only had our geriatric boxer, who we had just found out was completely deaf (our other dog had recently passed away & apparently was Rosalita's ears). While we were gone, our garage door opener stopped working & Mary let herself in through our dog door. Talk about dedication! She also helped us care for Rosalita as she later developed degenerative myelopathy (Lou Gherig's disease for dogs). For those who have seen it, it can be scary & daunting to care for such a dog when you aren't the owner. Mary came over & saw how we had prepped our home to attempt to make it safer for Rosalita. I highly recommend Mary to care for any of your critters (just ask her about tortoises!) Mary will take the very best care of your pets, so you can relax & enjoy your time away like we did.

Mary is the best person possible to care for your pets! She loves dogs so much and has always dedicated herself to the dogs she has owned with her whole heart. She believes in spending quality time with them and making sure they get plenty of exercise. She has cared for my dogs like they were her own. She is also very trustworthy and wise. She will know what to do in case of emergency. I would recommend her to anyone looking for a pet caregiver or dog walker. I am confident in all of her abilities to work with and care for animals.
