I’m an animal person at heart! I've had all different types of pets from as small as fancy mice, up to horses with no plans on stopping. After around 15 years of enjoying rabbits and guinea pigs, I'm now in my hound era 🐶. My spouse and I have an 18 pound mini American shepherd. She's bubbly, smart, and likes to watch TV. I've previously worked at a family owned pet store and in the pet industry for approximately 2 years. I'm a studio artist and painting teacher - I am available during most weekends and between contracts. I can host small pets up to 20 lbs. They will be cared for as if they were my own! Just a few of the special amenities at my place include: ✅ Playmate Daisy (18 lbs) ✅ Daily Picture Updates ✅ Indoor potty for pee pad trained pups ✅ Indoor agility course for when it's cold outside ✅ Tricky puzzles, snuffle and food toys for mental stimulation ✅ Doggie car seat with harness clip if your dog loves car rides

This was my first time using Rover and Mary Grace made this experience extremely easy. She took great care of my little dog over the weekend, and she was so attentive and sweet! She was great at communicating and sent frequent updates and pictures. She is simply what we all look for when it comes to our beloved furry friends 😊 I 100% recommend Mary Grace and will definitely look for her again for future needs.
This was our first time leaving our puppy with someone and we couldn’t be more happy and thankful to have found Mary Grace (and Daisy) to watch our girl. Mary Grace updated us throughout the day with pictures, videos and messages which was nice to have. Her house was well set up to host a dog with some fun things to do and items to make our dog feel comfortable while she was there. We will definitely use her again and recommend Mary Grace for puppy/dog sitting!
Left my 10 week old puppy with Mary Grace, and had a great experience. She was so great with Indy, sent lots of updates and it couldn’t have went better. Would recommend her to anyone! ☺️

If housesitting your home, I'm a neat and tidy person, just the way you'd want! I reset the spaces I've used, and keep an eye on plants. For boarding, we are a mature adult space with myself and my partner James. Zero smoking/ vaping. If I've stepped out of the house briefly for errands or appointments, I will separate our pups for their comfort and safety. I have 2 cameras I use to monitor and check in.

For MEET/GREET: if your baby is staying with us, let's have them meet Daisy at the dog park or go for a short walk around the block together. Note that Daisy can get very riled up for walks 😅 Other things to note: ✅ Does your pet have any quirks? ✅ Is your pet crate or pee pad trained? ✅ Any daily maintenance/hygiene needed?
A typical day
We live a 10 minute walk from some great local parks, and a short drive from some bigger options if your dog is OK with a car ride. If it's too cold to walk, I have an indoor agility course and lots and lots of balls to have a blast.

Whether boarding or house-sitting, I will do my best to adhere to your pet's normal routine. Let me know what time they like to be fed. If your pup free-feeds I will leave the food down for them in their own separate space.
