It’s like a Private Luxury Resort for your fur baby! Constant companionship, belly rubs, and kisses. One family at a time. No crowded kennels. No unfamiliar dogs. Your dog enjoys a private, fully fenced half-acre yard, frequent outdoor breaks, constant companionship and personalized care in a clean, comfortable home environment. I grew up with a house full of pets …dogs and cats. Personally, I am a dog lover, and I have developed an allergy to cats. In my adult life, I’ve had a golden retriever, three boxers, and a chocolate lab. I have adopted three rescue dogs. Years ago with my golden retriever, there were no services like Rover so she was boarded in a kennel, and after that it made me realize how much the importance of having my fur baby in a loving home with someone who will love on her and care for her while I’m away. I would love to be that person for your precious fur babies. I have a very large yard. It’s fenced in in the back, but even though it’s fenced in, I would still not leave your dogs alone in the yard. I would be out there active with them playing catch, playing frisbee or just playing with their favorite throw toy. I have cared for my own dogs from puppies thru their senior years and two dogs through cancer. I do have an extra large dog crate that’s 42x28x 30 so if your dog requires a crate, it’s not necessary for you to bring it. Just bring their favorite bedding. I would also like to add I allow myself a day or two between bookings because all the coverings that protect my furniture, all blankets and my home gets thoroughly cleaned between pets. Even down to the wonderful dog kisses on the windows and doors. Hopefully me and my Home will be a good fit for your precious fur babies.

Mary is the BEST. I have put off vacations because I haven’t trusted anyone to properly care for my pups. She put all my worries to ease at our initial meet and greet and kept me updated with photos and blurbs about their day during the duration of my trip. Her communication is fantastic. I have two very different dogs: a big chill golden retriever and a more particular / less trusting mix who is a complete sweetheart once she’s comfortable. Mary welcomed both, quickly earned my girl’s trust, and gave them their own mini vacation. Some highlights: -My golden unexpectedly needed pill medication right before our trip - Mary took care of it no problem. -She went out and got a different kind of food (with my permission) to entice my girl to eat. -When I say Mary earned my girl’s trust, I mean my dog was sleeping next to her and letting her scratch her belly after a couple days 😂 this is rare. -she checked in before giving the dogs anything other than their food/water and my provided treats. -I know they got plenty of exercise in her big beautiful fenced yard as the weather allowed. -she brushed both dogs and they came back with beautiful shiny coats We feel so lucky to have found her. I was able to relax on vacation knowing my dogs were taken care of. I couldn’t recommend Mary more.

Mary took care of our Shih Tzu for 12 days and we were so happy with her care. Our dog is afraid of everything and everyone. Last time we boarded her at a kennel she went on a hunger strike. But we did a test run of 2 days with Mary first and she did well. So it was obviously going to work out. Mary kept us updated with messages and pictures throughout her visit. It made our trip less stressful not worrying about Zoe. We will be coming back to Mary as long as she will have her.
Mary was truly one of the best people we’ve ever had take care of Apollo! She really enjoyed his personality and made sure he was happy, comfortable, and having fun. She sent us pictures and updates almost every day and took such great care of him, from making sure he was eating well to even washing his blanket and packing all of his things before we picked him up. We are so grateful for the wonderful care she gave Apollo during those two weeks. We don’t live in Illinois, but if we did, she would absolutely be our first choice to take care of him again!
Mary took good care of our boy Max once again. This was our 3rd time using her. He is always well taken care of!

I am retired so I am home full-time seven days a week which would allow me lots of time to spend with your dog indoors and outdoors.

I have a very large fence yard, and I would never leave your dog alone in the yard as I would be out there actively involved in their playtime. I currently do not have any dogs in my home as I recently lost my boxer to cancer. I would need your dog to be child friendly as I do have my grandson who is 12 here occasionally. I also would accept another dog that is in the same household for the additional fee at the same time but I would not accept another dog on Rover at the same time I’m caring for your dog that has been trusted to me. I feel this ensures the safety of all the fur babies. This way, you can be confident that my attention is given to your pet and your pet alone. No strange dogs sharing my time and attention. I do not charge extra to actually spend time engaging in playtime with your dog and I do not charge extra to administer oral medication. Typical boarding places do charge extra for all those services. My home is not a typical boarding place. A lot of my customers call my home their dogs vacation from home. One client actually refers to my home for their dog is Disneyland poor doggies.

Actively engaging them in outdoor play and walks. Playing fetch, ball, frisbee. Playtime indoors as well. I do allow ball playing and fetch in the house.

- I would require a meet and greet prior to any dog sitting. I feel it’s important that the dog with their owner comes to meet me in my home so that the first time your dog is here in my home they are not just dropped off or felt abandoned and feeling scared. They are going to miss you while you’re gone, so it’s important that they know you have been here and you approve of me which will make them feel more comfortable with me while you are away. I have hardwood floors, so I do require them to be housebroken. I would also need to know if there’s any medication that needs to be administered and if they have any other health conditions just so that I can be up-to-date on how to best care for your dog. DROP-OFF & PICK-UP POLICY To provide the best care for all pets in my home, I ask that clients adhere to their scheduled drop-off and pick-up times. • Drop-offs and pick-ups should occur within the times agreed upon in the booking. • If you need to arrive earlier or later than scheduled, please contact me as soon as possible to confirm availability. • Early drop-offs and late pick-ups may require an adjustment to the booking and/or an additional care fee. • Unannounced schedule changes can affect other pets and commitments, so advance communication is greatly appreciated.
