Friendly North Shore dog mum
I adore furry friends! I used to watch dogs on Rover at my old house on the Windward side but went through a few life changes. I enjoy dogs and taking care of them and am back on Rover as a doggie day care person! I have owned dogs for over 12 years, handling them from when they were really young to their elderly years. I reside on the North Shore now and have 2 sweet dogs (1 playful puppy pit/sharpei mix & 1 darling mini-poodle - both rescues). We have a fenced in yard and work from home full-time. Would love to meet your dog and give him or her attention and precious walk or one-on-one time while you are away for the day, be it for work or day trip or hanging with all day and night with friends and family in a non-pet setting.

Mary is the best! Our dogs love staying with her and her pups. They always come back home happy. Mary does a great job with keeping in touch during our trip sending pictures and updates. Mary is both understanding and flexible when a last minute trip came up. She is also just very sweet. Thank you so much Mary!
Max and Lucy came back happy and healthy from their 10 day stay with Mary. She sent us updates regularly. We enjoyed our vacation knowing our dogs were being well cared for. We look forward to having our dogs stay with her again.
Mary was great. She did an excellent job taking care of my fur-child Reza. I was tearing my hair out at the prospect of leaving my dog for a week, but Mary put my mind at ease over the first few days of separation by regularly sending pictures and videos of Reza. She was also very quick to respond to any questions or comments I had over the Rover communication application. Highly recommend Mary for boarding your pet.
Mary is awesome! She took such good care of little Polo...and he came home and passed out! He's excited to go back next week!!!
Mary is always top notch
Our pup had such a great stay with Mary! She setup a meet and great prior to our booking so we could get to meet her and her pets and see her place. Mary was very accommodating with our needs, allowing us to drop off and pick up when we were able to. She also sent a photo while we were away to give us piece of mind. Mary has a huge backyard allowing the dogs to explore and have fun during their visit. Our dog is a little shy and it was clear that she took the time to make him feel comfortable and at home. I cannot recommend Mary enough, we look forward to booking with her again soon!

Schedule
I work from home full-time. I have an 'office' based job, but have worked remotely for over 10 years, so I am used to watching dogs and working/being at home.

Safety, trust & environment
The environment is a detached home, with good area to run around - down the driveway, around the house, in and out of the house. The property has a fenced yard, and I would always be nearby / within eye sight to see what's up. We are a brief walk away (less than 5 minutes) to a park and the beach.
Pets
A typical day
I can take them to the local park or beach (within 5-10 minutes) for walks where I live. I also can play in the yard with the dogs. If they’re not super active, and they prefer to chill, I can have them sit on my lap or play with their favorite toys.
