I grew up in a home that always had cats, dogs, and even turtles—we often took in stray cats and made them part of our family. In college, I adopted my first dog, a Corgi/Cocker Spaniel mix named Cocoa, from a rescue when he was 1.5 years old. He was my companion for 10 years, staying by my side through college, my first big relationship, and multiple moves across California. In his senior years, Cocoa developed kidney failure, and I made sure he was comfortable and well cared for until the end. After Cocoa’s passing, I adopted my first puppy, a Mini Goldendoodle named Jasper. Now almost 3 years old, Jasper is a high-energy velcro dog who thrives on activity. I trained him myself with the help of PetSmart, successfully house-breaking him within four weeks. Together, we’ve traveled across the U.S. and internationally. With experience caring for animals of all ages, from playful puppies to senior pets with special needs, I understand the patience, attention, and love they require. Whether it's keeping up with energetic dogs, providing a calming presence for anxious pets, or maintaining consistent training, I strive to create a safe and fun environment for every animal in my care.

Mary Alice was very professional and respectful of our home while house sitting our dog. She kept us up to date on what was happening while we were gone, both with our pet and stuff around the house. Mary is amazing! She helped us out super last minute with some drop in visits for our 2 dogs and cat. She came over to meet them prior and you could immediately tell she has a kind and gentle demeanor- all the animals gravitated towards her! I am currently studying for my Pilates certification, which gives me plenty of flexibility to care for your pet. As an active person, I go on 4-mile walks multiple times a week to get my steps in, and I’d love to bring your pet along for some fresh air and exercise. I also prioritize reinforcing any training you’ve implemented, ensuring your pet stays consistent no matter the environment. Whether it’s maintaining their routine, providing companionship, or keeping them engaged, I strive to make them feel safe, comfortable, and happy while you're away.

For drop-in visits, I provide attentive care, whether it's feeding, refreshing water, administering medication, or giving your pet some much-needed playtime and companionship. I also reinforce any training and routines you have in place to maintain consistency while you're away. During walks, I prioritize safety by always using a secure leash and being mindful of the pet’s surroundings. Whether it’s a casual neighborhood stroll or an active adventure, I tailor the experience to your pet’s needs, ensuring they get the right balance of exercise and engagement.

I start my mornings with a neighborhood walk, and for pets in my care, I ensure they get a potty break and some light activity to start their day. Meals and water refills are given according to their routine, and I love incorporating training reinforcement or puzzle toys to keep their minds engaged. For mid-day visits or walks, I take pets on structured outings that allow for sniffing, leash training, and exercise. Whether it’s a casual neighborhood stroll, a long walk to the beach, or playtime in the yard, I make sure they get the right mix of stimulation and relaxation. Treats, water, and engagement toys are always on hand to keep them happy and hydrated. Evening care includes a final potty walk and wind-down time, ensuring they’re comfortable and settled before bedtime. Whether it’s a short check-in or a full day of care, I strive to make each pet feel safe, loved, and entertained while you're away.
