Pet care experience
I've been a dog lover ever since I remember. I got my 1st dog when I was 14, a little yorkie Lilly. We did agility together and I taught her many tricks. In that time I used to also take care of my grandparents dog when needed. After loosing her in March 2022, we got a cocker spaniel puppy, Poppy. She is now 1,5 y.o. and she is a dream. I've been training her since she came home with us and I'm planning on doing agility with her once she gets a little older.

Martina has been a fantastic help for me with my puppy Blu. He absolutely loves spending time in their home with their lovely spaniel Poppy. Martina is fantastic, keeps me updated with photos, videos and messages. Blu loves his time there, she provides lots of enrichment for him through lickmats & kongs. He comes home a happy, tired boy! If I had 10 stars I’d give them all to Martina! We are so happy we found Martina and her family including Poppy who took care of Jasper like he was her own and who he had the best time playing with! Regular and comforting updates and pictures which made leaving Jasper for a couple of weeks a little easier knowing he was so well cared for. Martina made Jasper feel very special with little touches like celebrating his birthday. Would recommend Martina and her family to anyone with a beloved pet.

We have a feced yard where your dog can run and play fetch and a friendly dog that can keep your fur baby company. Our spaniel is used to her crate for a night so crating is not a problem.

A typical day
From my own experience, I know dogs need both mental & physical stimulation. That's why for the mental stimulation I like to use interactive treat toys, wobbling kong, snuffle mat to keep them occupied when they get bored. For the physical bit I like to take dogs for a run to nearby park where they can sniff and play with balls. I like to let my cocker to search for balls using her nose there, she loves it.

Availability
I work from home on most of the days so I can keep your dog company and take them for a toilet breaks when needed. I usually take my cocker for a longer walk during my lunch to a park nearby where she is let off lead and likes to play fetch. After work we usually go to a park where we let her run of lead when it's still light outside. Over the winter we tend to go for a walk around the block. Over the weekend we usually go for 1 to 2 long walks a day ( usually get her to run off lead).
