Your pup's second home!
Our family has owned and loved dogs all of our life. Nothing makes us happier than bringing the pure love and joy of a dog into our home. Our home is not a model home where dogs can't go on furniture or run around. Quite the opposite, in our home your dog will completely feel like part of the family - snuggles on the couch and all! My husband and I have been boarding dogs since 2016. We've watched all types of dogs - small and large, easy-going and particular ones 🤣 - truly all types! We've also taken care of dogs with challenging physical ailments, high-anxiety, and ones that require the administration of medications. I have also been on the committee for Leash Free Milton since 2020. Amongst several roles in this organization, I created a calendar initiative to help fundraise for our leash-free dog parks. What can I say, I love dogs! ❤️ When your dog stays with us, you will be sent many photo and video updates throughout the day. 📸 You'll always know what your pup's been up to.

Marta's dog, Mack, attacked my dog over a ball. My boy , who is half of Mack's size was left with a severe gash above his eye, a deep bite on his neck, and multiple scratches on his stomach, head and ear. We had to rush him to the ER where he received 6 stitches. Marta mentioned their dog had no serious injuries. Marta and John were apologetic and communicated this incident to us soon after it happened. John also drove my dog to the ER where we took over. But both dogs should've been better supervised and this should never have happened.

Oakley had an awesome day with Marta and her family! They took great care of him, had lots of activities throughout the day and sent frequent photos and updates.
Marta and her family were amazing for Enzo. They understood Enzo is a dog that times time to warm up to new people. They did nice walks and a dog park visit to help build up Enzo’s comfort. Marta was aleast punctual and very responsive to messages and updates. I never once felt worried about leaving Enzo in their care.
Leaving our dog is never easy but Marta and her beautiful family gave us so much peace of mind. With frequent updates and a whole lot of spoiling, we knew our pup was in the best care. Thank you so much!

I don't work often. When I do, it is flexible, supply work. My husband works from home, so someone will always be home with your pup.

Outside, we have a fenced-in backyard with a gate. Both outside and inside, all unsafe materials are out of reach from the dogs. Our dog Mack is happy to keep your dog company and often becomes great friends with the dogs we watch! 🐶🐶
Animaux

Walks, dog parks (*notice note in next paragraph), playtime, and mental stimulation. An example of a canine enrichment activity that I like to do is to hide treats in a towel and roll it up. The dog then would snuffle the treats out of the towel. I have many enrichment ideas with differing levels of difficulty, all depending on how hard your dog likes to work! *In terms of dog parks, we will only go to the "run" section of the park - where Mack and your dog can play, and not where there are unknown and unpredictable dogs. I also have a "secret" dog park nearby that I like to take dogs to. Not many people know about the park, and it allows the dogs to have a larger, fenced-in area to run around and play together in. Also, I will only take your pup to the dog park if you are comfortable with him or her being driven there. We discuss ahead of time your comfortability - our backyard is a great alternative to play in!
