J'ai une horaire atypique et j'ai la possibilité d'organiser mon temps à ma guise. Lorsque je suis au bureau, mon conjoint est 100% en télétravail ce qui nous permet de toujours avoir un oeil sur le chien :) I have an atypical schedule and the flexibility to organize my time as I wish. When I am at the office, my partner works 100% remotely, which allows us to always keep an eye on the dog.

Nous sommes plutôt de type grandes marches ou course (avec plaisir!) et nous avons une cour arrière clôturée donc jeux de balles. À l'intérieur, nous misons sur un comportement calme du chien en l'occupant intellectuellement, avec un os ou un jouet et beaucoup de séance de gratouilles. Lorsque l'on garde à un autre domicile, nous essayons le plus possible de garder l'horaire type du chien présent et sa routine. (ex: marche tous les midis à l'extérieur) We’re more the type to go on long walks or runs (happily!), and we have a fenced backyard for ball play and outdoor games. Indoors, we focus on encouraging calm behavior by keeping the dog mentally stimulated with a bone or a toy, along with plenty of cuddle and scratch sessions. When we care for a dog in another home, we do our best to maintain the dog’s usual schedule and routine (for example, a daily outdoor walk at lunchtime).

Ma préférence va aux chiots ou aux chien qui ne sont pas vocaux. Nous avons des locataires en dessous de nous. J'ai quelques bases pour vous donné du répit si vous avez un chiot et vous voulez quelqu'un qui le surveille constamment. J'aime également les soins de base comme laver les oreilles, dents si vous avez besoin :) My preference is for puppies or dogs that are not very vocal, as we have tenants living below us. I have some basic training knowledge and can provide you with peace of mind if you have a puppy and are looking for someone who can supervise them closely. I also enjoy providing basic care such as cleaning ears and brushing teeth, if needed.
A typical day
Dans une journée type, nous allons nous lever et commencer par une balade pour faire les besoins et un peu dépenser l'énergie de la nuit. Ensuite, déjeuner suivi de flatouilles pour 1-2h le temps de commencer la journée. Généralement nous allons nous entrainer donc absent une heure trente minutes et ensuite douche, on profite du dehors ou de l'intérieur en jouant avec des jouets sous supervision. Commissions et tour de voiture avec le chien s'il aime cela et on termine à la maison. Marche nocture avant dodo avec mon conjoint avant de revenir pour de bon et faire notre nuit. Nous sommes habitués d'amener notre chien partout étant donnée avoir été famille d'accueil alors nous essayons vraiment de le laisser le moins seul possible. On a typical day, we wake up and start with a walk so the dog can take care of business and burn off some of the night’s energy. Then it’s breakfast, followed by cuddle time for 1–2 hours while we ease into the day. We usually go train, during which we’re away for about an hour and a half. After that, it’s shower time, then we enjoy either outdoor or indoor play with toys, always under supervision. We’ll run errands and take the dog along for a car ride if they enjoy it, then head back home. In the evening, we finish the day with a nighttime walk before bedtime, usually together with my partner, before settling in for the night. We’re very used to bringing our dog almost everywhere with us, having been a foster family, so we truly try to leave the dog alone as little as possible.

Nous avons été famille d'accueil pour Mira pendant 5 ans donc patience et constance avec les canins, on connaît ça ! Nous avons également fait du gardiennage dans 4 domiciles distincts dans les 4 dernières années pour les vacances estivales des propriétaires :) (avec chiens et chats). Chez nous, l'accès à un sentier à 100m permet les marches et randonnée fréquentes avec votre chiens. On a également une cour arrière cloturée au besoin. J'aime faire également les soins de base pour les chiens pour être certaine que tout va bien :) We were a foster family for Mira for 5 years, so patience and consistency with dogs are definitely something we’re familiar with! We have also provided pet-sitting services in 4 different homes over the past 4 years during the owners’ summer vacations (with both dogs and cats). At our place, there is access to a trail just 100 meters away, which allows for frequent walks and hikes with your dog. We also have a fenced backyard if needed. I also enjoy doing basic dog care to make sure everything is okay and that the dog is healthy.
