I take care of my cat everyday! Food, water, playtime, litter scooping are all very consistent parts of my routine. And of course cuddle time, too, as she allows it.

I always am anxious about making sure my cat can't get out of the house and am very diligent in checking the safety of my home. Flowers, trash, random hair ties, and other things that are usually left in a home can end up being really bad for a cat, so I am always hyper-conscious of having a cat-safe environment. The same goes for dogs, as well.

I have no preferences when it comes to type of dog or size or age. I would like to know if they have any aggressive tendencies, specific things that make them nervous, and if they have any allergies, as well as how they are with other dogs we may meet on walks. For cats, I’d like to know if they scratch or bite at all when being pet or brushed.

For cats- I love finding out their favorite toys and games to play. Cats who love cuddles and pets can always count on getting them from me. For dogs- I would walk them around your neighborhood and to any nearby parks. I also know a few spaces around the city I liked to take my own dog and would be happy to take them there as well. I love playing with dogs and rolling around with them. Playing fetch, tug of war, or whatever game your dog has made up for himself (mine does that a lot).

I absolutely love all animals! Most of my experience on Rover has been with cats and since I started several years ago, I have become confident in my ability to accommodate special requests, cats who need medication, and spicy cats who are…picky… about the company they keep. I understand that for most cats, it is all about letting them set the terms of the visit and not overwhelming them. Minimizing a kitty’s stress while their favorite human is away is my most important goal. I focus on keeping them comfortable, safe, and happy, so you can rest easy during your travels. As a cat mom myself, I understand how hard it is to leave your furry friends for any length of time, so making sure both you and your pet are secure in the knowledge that there is nothing to worry about, is of the utmost importance to me. Marie is a great cat sitter - cared our three cats exactly as needed, including dealing with our picky eaters and giving daily meds! Would recommend to anyone looking for cat care.
Marie was so great with Crème over the holiday! She was responsive, informative, and so helpful with the extreme heat to make sure our cat was ok. Thanks again!
Marie did a great job caring for our two cats while we were away. She kept me tuned in with daily reports and photos snd communicated well with any questions she had during visits. And she kept my container plants alive during very hot weather! Both cats were calm and relaxed when I returned.
