Safety, trust & environment
I am big on communication and will send lots of professional pictures and videos of your pet. Cats love a clean space so I make sure that any hair, food, litter, etc is cleaned during each visit. Even the oldest cats still enjoy mental stimulation, and I create engaging puzzles + games for all ages. I always follow the pace of your cat and will reach out about any interesting behaviors I notice in case you have more information on what your cat is trying to communicate to me. I can’t board any pets due to living in an apartment with 2 cats, so my preferred mode of care is drop in.
Information Marie-Rose F. would like to know about your pet
I’d love to know if there are any special quirks/routines that you’d like me to keep up with while you are gone. For example, one of my cats likes to hide under blanket forts 😄 Nothing is too tedious to mention, I’d love to hear about it all!! Please let me know if there are any special needs or more dangerous habits that your pet has. For example, running out the door or eating anything left on the ground (like scraps of paper).
A typical day
I always tailor my care to what your cat needs. If that is playing some music, constant chatter (or silence), hiding treats around the home, or creating a layered tasty meal, I will be happy to do it. Over the years, I’ve noticed that cats do need more attention than people initially think. This is why I love to create challenging and mentally stimulating games and activities for them while you are gone. I have picky cats myself, and they have taught me how to play with cats. A cat that isn’t chasing the toy but is still tracking it with their eyes, is still playing. With these cats, holding the toy still and giving them time to asses how to pounce helps them stay engaged in the games 😸 Another technique that never misses when playing is hiding the wand attachment in different nooks and crannies for them to stalk and sniff out. I’ve been able to get even the most sedentary cats to play with this technique. No matter what type of kitty you have, if they’re in my care, I can guarantee they will be well loved and meticulously looked after 💕

✨Cat Connoisseur✨
Pet care experience
Hi, I’m Marie 🤗 I specialize in creating a detail oriented, engaging, and reliable experience for your pet while you are away. Although I specialize in cat care, I am open to dogs as well! One of my favorite things to do is capturing the essence of your pet through meticulously shot videos and photos. The goal is to create an experience where you feel more connected to your pet, even while you’re away. I am confident in being able to accommodate any needs your pet(s) may have. Thank you for trusting me with your baby(ies)! 😻

Reviews

As usual, Marie provided excellent care of cheddar. After a recent move, cheddar was reassured to have her normal pet sitter visit. She loves playtime and snuggles with Marie.

Marie-Rose took exceptional care of our cats, going above and beyond to ensure their well-being. She was very communicative and made sure to keep us updated while we were gone.

Marie-Rose was the best Rover cat sitter I’ve ever had! She is very kind and took extremely good care of my cat Dot. She is detail oriented, making sure to ask specific questions about logistics, pet care/cleaning, and how to make your pet the happiest they can be. I received many amazing videos and photos of Dot, which showed her playing, getting treats, and overall attention. Marie-Rose even left Dot a new wand toy and left a hand-written note with a drawing of Dot, which really warmed my heart. Highly recommend you book Marie-Rose in the future!!

We had a great experience with Marie. She was professional, a good communicator, and very thorough. She brought over extra toys for the kitties and even hand-drew a beautiful picture of them. We would absolutely ask her to watch our kitties again!
