Retired dog lovers!
We are a retired couple who recently lost our dog Olive to cancer. We would be thrilled to have other dogs in our lives. We have had dogs for 30 years and have lots of experience with caring for them. We have a small and large parks near our home and we love to walk so your pet would get walks in and lots of love.

Jim and Joanne are great! They took care of my two-year old dog for two nights while I had surgery. I had complete confidence that my dog would be well cared for. Jim and Joanne love dogs and make sure that each dog receives lots of attention. My dog especially loved hanging out on a recliner with Jim:). They have a great backyard for dogs, too. They are attentive to all details about each dog, including feeding and sleeping routines, play styles, and walks. I will definitely take my dog back to them!
I could not rate Marie (aka Joann) & Jim higher - they took such amazing care of my senior dog, Ace. They were excellent communicators and sent daily updates and pictures. They gave Ace regularl walks and lots of love and attention. This was a longer stay (2 weeks) and you could tell they really bonded with him. I felt completely reassured and confident he was in good hands. They printed out all instructions given and were amazing at giving him his meds and even notifying me when he was running low. Ace definitely seemed right at home and we will 100% be boarding with them again!
Marie & James took excellent care of my dog, Simon, while I was out of town for 9 days!

We are so thankful for the care and kindness! Our pup had a great time and it’s so good to be able to relax and trust she’s in great hands!
We are always happy to leave Edith, our dog, with Jim and Marie. They treat her with great kindness and care.

Schedule
Because we are retired we would be mostly home with your dog only occasionally to leave to do shopping or Doctor appointments. Basically we are home.

A typical day
We are active seniors and would walk your dog around our neighborhood and also play in our fenced in back yard. Let us know if your dog has any special things they like to do and we would be happy to accommodate.
