Your cat’s wellbeing, safety, and comfort are my top priorities. As a lifelong cat owner, I understand how important it is to maintain familiar routines and minimise stress while you’re away. I take the time to get to know each cat’s personality and needs, whether they are confident and sociable or shy and anxious. During every visit, I ensure fresh food and water are provided, litter trays are cleaned, and your cat receives the appropriate level of attention, play, and companionship. I am experienced in administering medication and understand the importance of following care instructions carefully. I also treat every home with respect, carrying out basic home checks and keeping everything secure during my visits. This can include watering indoor and outdoor plants, bringing bins in and out on collection days, collecting post, opening and closing curtains if requested, and carrying out basic home wellbeing checks. These small touches can help your home look lived in and give you extra peace of mind while you’re travelling. Regular updates and photos are provided so you can feel confident that your cat is happy, safe, and well cared for while you’re away. For your peace of mind, I am DBS checked, fully insured, a non-smoker, and have my own car, allowing me to travel reliably and respond promptly to bookings.

A typical day starts with feeding and checking in on the cats, making sure they are happy, comfortable, and following their usual routine. I spend time playing, grooming (if they enjoy it), and giving plenty of attention and affection. I also keep food, water, and litter areas clean and provide owners with updates and photos for peace of mind. As a cat owner myself, I understand how important consistency and care are, and I tailor each visit to the individual cat’s needs and personality. If agreed with the owner, I will also assist with home care such as watering plants, mail collection.... I understand that having a trusted person care for both your cat and home provides added peace of mind.

Hello! I’m Marie. I currently share my home with two very different cats: Boo, my anxious but lovable black fluff ball, and Coco, a very affectionate white cat with one blue eye and one green eye who loves cuddles and attention. Living with cats with such different personalities has taught me the importance of patience, understanding, and adapting care to each cat’s individual needs. I also have experience administering medication. My previous cat, Tryphon, a much-loved Maine Coon, had a heart condition and required ongoing care and medication. This experience helped me become confident in following care routines and paying close attention to a cat’s wellbeing. I know how important it is to leave your pets with someone who genuinely cares. Whether your cat is shy and prefers quiet company or loves playtime and attention, I’ll make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and cared for while you’re away.
