Hi! I’m Mariana, and it would be an honor to walk your best friend! I absolutely love spending time with dogs, and taking an adorable pup on a walk is one of my favorite things to do. With my background as a pre-vet student at A&T, where I’m double majoring in animal science and biology, I have over 4,000 hours of animal handling experience, including caring for exotics, small mammals, and large animals. I’ve been walking dogs since I was a kid, and I regularly walk my own two dogs. Whenever I have free time, I also volunteer at the animal shelter. I believe it’s essential for our furry friends to get their steps in every day, ensuring they stay healthy and happy. Your pets’ needs—whether medical, emotional, or physical—are my top priority. I pride myself on being extremely cautious and responsible, treating your dog as if they were my own. Feel free to reach out with any questions! I pretty much revolve my day around my dogs and their needs, starting with feeding them, making sure they have fresh water, and getting them out for a walk or some playtime in the morning. Throughout the day, I check in on them, give them attention, and make sure they’re comfortable and happy. In the evening, we wind down with another walk, dinner, and some relaxing time together, plus I fit in weekly tasks like grooming and cleaning their space.

I always start by asking the pet parents detailed questions about their animal, so I can understand their routine, personality, and any special needs. From there, I tailor my care to each individual pet, whether that means feeding schedules, exercise, administering medication, or just providing companionship. My goal is to keep their routine as consistent and comfortable as possible, whether I’m caring for them in my home or in the client’s home.

I always enjoy spending quality time engaging with every pet I watch. With cats, I love giving them attention, petting them, and playing with their favorite toys. With dogs, I enjoy going on long walks, playing fetch, and making sure they get plenty of exercise and fun.
