★The Comfort of a Professional★
Pet care experience
Hi! My Name is Mariah. I am 29 years old and I have been involved with dogs since I was 19 years old, and I love every moment of it. I am currently taking courses on canine behavior and psychology to fill in any knowledge I may have missed in my own experience, but am passionate and plan to continue pursuing knowledge to help dogs everywhere. I have two trained service dogs of my own, both of which I trained myself during a 4 year apprenticeship with a handler that has 20 years of experience and holds numerous competition titles. I recently moved from New Jersey to Missouri. When I was in New Jersey I was one of the top border/trainers in the area and known well for my ability to work with working line dogs and dogs with behavioral issues. I have a house in the city now and a section of my home dedicated to dogs! We have a very large yard with 6ft fences, an operational slat mill for exercise, and a large pool for dog use. Video walkthroughs are offered free of charge. If you are interested in training please review this next section. I offer the following services for training: -Board to train basic obedience (stay must be longer than a week) -Daycare to train basic obedience (typically m-f but can work with different days) -Basic obedience package (6 sessions completed in 3-6 weeks on your schedule) -Individual training session by session -ESA -Service training (not for any and every service, this is a case by case basis, some services I still don’t have enough experience with yet to offer e.g. seeing eye dogs) -Competition training -Protection training -Behavioral training -Walk/Obedience package The following list is examples of behavioral issues -General anxiety, separation anxiety -Crying, screeching, excessive barking -Marking, peeing when afraid/excited, pee pad trained, not potty trained fully -Fear/anxiety of other dogs, general reclusiveness around other dogs -Leash pulling, leash anxiety -Door crowders, house escape artists -Dogs who will eat other dogs food, food stealers, beggars, dogs who search everywhere for food, dogs that will rip open bags for food -Barking at windows and doors when people pass by -Crate anxiety, crate barkers/screechers, crate escape artists, crate destroyers, crate reactive -Leash reactive dogs -Dog reactive dogs -People reactive dogs -Cat reactive dogs -Dogs that have attacked other dogs -Dogs that have bitten or attacked a person -Dogs who have needed to be muzzled in the past. -Early intervention for reactive puppies (received before 8 weeks) This is my full time gig, all dogs, all the time :) If I have to leave at all for groceries or doctors appointments it's never longer than two hours. I have crates of every size, fences to divide a room if needed, muzzles in case of emergency (NEVER used without telling the owner first, this is just for unexpected behavioral problems if safety is in question) I also have various training equipment, different types of training collars, leashes, long lines.

Thank you for watching our pup! Felt so happy knowing he was well taken care of

This is my 3rd time booking with Mariah! I feel very comfortable and can actually relax when out of town, knowing that my 3 dogs are in good hands with her and her boyfriend. This last visit I was thrilled to receive a photo of my dog chilling on a raft in their pool 😊. They truly are very professional and have a HUGE fenced yard with fun for all dogs. I can tell my babies had a good time because they always come back not only happy, but exhausted! Which really helps after a trip when all I wanna do is sleep too. Highly recommend!

Amazing experience! My boys came back tired and happy 😊

Information Mariah R. would like to know about your pet
Where does your pup sleep? What motivates your pup? What fears does your pup have? What is your pups food schedule? Do you have current training in place you would like me to continue for consistency during their stay with me? How is your pup on a leash? How is your pup with other dogs? What are your pups distractions?
A typical day
Pets are family! I will treat your pup like they are my own. When we wake up in the morning, everyone is fed. Bowls are given to each dog in different corners of rooms to prevent guarding, dogs with more serious guarding issues will be placed in one of the crates for eating. Throughout the day your dog will have unlimited access indoors and outdoors. The door to our dog room leads right outside into the fenced backyard and stays open all day aside from me letting my own dogs out and at night time.We will practice obedience throughout the day because it is a great way to alleviate anxiety and mentally stimulate a dog. It is included in my boarding services free of charge. The dog area is large and set up with sturdy furniture and arranged to give plenty of room for zoomies and rest. Things of concern will be out of sight and out of reach (think child proof but dog proof). I have an assortment of toys for every type of player. Snuffle rugs, kongs, tug ropes, enrichment toys. My own two dogs love to play with other dogs as long as the owners give permission for this. Many visiting dogs find themselves consumed in play with them the majority of the day. God bless my neighbors ;) I have an assortment of gates and fences to separate the dogs who don’t like too much action too but prefer not to be crated. Bedtime is around 8-9pm, I have a wide assortment of comforters, dog beds, and blankets just in case you don’t bring your own. “But what if my dog sleeps in the crate?” you ask. Not to worry, I have a crate in every size, from Great Dane to Chihuahua!
