Wednesday through Friday (Remote Days): Our days start early with a morning walk and breakfast before I log on for work. Because I am remote these days, your dog will have constant companionship. I take regular breaks throughout the day for playtime and potty stretches. After work, the evenings are completely dedicated to longer walks, park visits, or burning off energy with brain games and dinner. Monday and Tuesday (Onsite Days): I am out of the house from 9:30-5:30 (roughly) on these days. Before I leave, all dogs get a good morning walk and breakfast. My puppy stays comfortably in his crate while I'm gone. If your dog needs a midday potty break during these hours, I can easily adjust my schedule to swing home and let them out—just let me know in advance so I can plan my day around it! Ideally, I prefer boarding dogs to be crate-trained so they can stay safely tucked away while I'm out, but if your dog is super chill and trustworthy, I'm totally fine letting them stay out to roam. No matter the day, your dog's feeding, medication, and exercise schedules will always be followed.

Safety, trust & environment
Safety is my absolute top priority. Having raised an energetic puppy and managed the delicate health needs of two senior dogs, I am highly attuned to creating a safe, low stress environment for any pup. Emergency Peace of Mind: I live within minutes to MedVet Campbell and SAGE upon any emergency. If your pet ever requires immediate medical attention, they are just a quick drive away from these 24/7 facilities. In My Home (Boarding): A Safe, PuppyProofed Space: Having dealt with a young puppy, my home is dog-proofed. There are no loose cords, toxic plants, or small items left out for curious mouths to chew on. Supervised Introductions: Because I have an active 8 month old puppy, all dog interactions are strictly supervised. I make sure play stays balanced and fun. If a guest dog prefers their own space or gets tired, I easily separate them using baby gates, crates or different rooms so everyone feels secure. Medical & Dietary Security: I strictly follow your feeding, supplement, and medication schedules. Because of my background with intensive medical care for my senior dogs, I am incredibly observant of a dog’s body language and behavior to make sure they are comfortable, happy, and healthy. Out on Walks: Strict Leash Safety: Dogs are always kept securely on leash and I always ensure that collars and harnesses are properly fitted before we ever step out the door. No Unpredictable Greetings: For safety and trust, I do not let guest dogs greet strange or unknown dogs while we are out on walks. We focus entirely on a fun, peaceful, and stimulating walk unless you allow for friendly greetings. Senior Mobility Support: If I am walking an older pup, we go at their pace. I also have a doggy cart when walking is too much so that they still get to enjoy the fresh air safely without overexerting themselves. I also have a dog carrier - similar to a baby carrier that I got for my chihuahua. Silly but it really worked! That is also available for small dogs if your dog is open to it.

Pet care experience
I'm very much a dog person. I've had dogs my entire life and truly enjoy being around them. I currently have an 8-month-old, very friendly puppy that is crate trained and potty trained. Because he is still young, I focus heavily on the reward system for training so he gets lots of positive reinforcement. I am also very experienced with senior dogs and dogs that require meds. I recently lost my two beloved senior dogs, my 11 yearold chihuahua Chip who had MVD and tracheal collapse, and a 13 year old German Shepherd, Hope, who had cancer. Because of them, I have a lot of experience providing medications, including liquid medicine in syringes. With that, I am also able to easily feed kibble, wet food, supplements, or handle any specific medical or dietary routine your dog needs. I also have a doggy cart from when walking became too much for my GSD. She would go on the cart and eventually want to walk a little, then get back on and she loved it! I have it available for any boarding or walking pup that likes to go outside but to whom walking the whole way is just too much. My Schedule: Monday and Tuesday: I work onsite and am typically out of the house from9:30-ish to 5:30ish. However, I can make my hours flexible enough to come home earlier for a potty break if needed within a certain time frame, just let me know and I can plan accordingly. Wednesday through Friday: I work completely remote from home, so I am around all day for constant companionship, playtime, and walks! If you have any questions please don't hesitate to message me. I understand that each dog is different and aim to provide a flexible set up as I can!
Reviews
Mafer is great with dogs! She has walked my dog several times and he is not dog-friendly, something she’s been able to handle without issues. I trust her with my dog and would be happy to have her watch him anytime, for a walk or for overnight. She takes into consideration his personality and makes sure to give him an environment that adjusts to him.
