Pet care experience
I have had dogs since I was young and have taken care of and pet sat for neighbors multiple times. I have experience with senior dogs and puppies, and am willing and able to work on skills and training such as potty training and basic commands.

Maria was wonderful. We needed someone to stay at our home for the weekend to house sit and watch our pets. We have one very friendly dog and two very shy rescue cats, and Maria did a fantastic job taking care of all three of them. She was very responsive beginning with our initial request until the end of her stay. She fed our dog and cats, walked our dog every day, and gave him tons of cuddles and affection, and worked on winning over our apprehensive cats. She sent updates every day with photos, and we felt very relaxed knowing she was there taking care of the house. Would absolutely work with her again, and recommend her to anyone looking for someone to help with your furry friends.
Maria was fantastic! She sent frequent updates and pictures! She was also great with my high energy dog, taking her on many walks and playing tug with her! We appreciated her care and attention immensely!
Maria took wonderful care of my pup while I was away. My dog can be a bit nervous, but I came home to a relaxed and happy dog. I really appreciated the updates, photos, and thoughtful communication throughout the stay. It gave me peace of mind knowing he was in such good hands. Highly recommend Maria to anyone looking for someone trustworthy and compassionate, especially if you have an older or more sensitive dog. We’ll definitely be booking again!

I've worked in shelters with volatile dogs before so I have been taught the best ways to approach nervous and anxious animals. I would never put (or want to put) a dog in a situataion which they feel uncomfortable or constricted. I make sure to abide by this by being responsive of the dogs body language and general behavior

Would love to know the type of personality your pet has or any boundaries that shouldn’t be crossed (no touching ears, paws, belly, etc). I love high energy animals, it’s just appreciated to know if they are before I meet them :)
A typical day
I love to be on my feet so I love going on walks with dogs when it isn’t too hot out! Playing fetch or tug of war is also always a reliable way to play with them.

Availability
Currently have an internship where I’m required to go in on Wednesdays so I’m unavailable that day. On weekdays however I’d be more than happy to go check in and play with any animals during the day! I'm also a morning person so I'm happy to wake up early and check on any furry friends before work
