I have had 2 dogs of my own who lived joy filled lives, a lovely mixed breed named Lisa for 12+ years and a Jack Russel Terrier named Wiley for 18+ years. I have completed 5 petsits using an international website where I earned 5 Star ratings for each. The 5 sits involved my travelling internationally and across Canada caring for dogs while their owners travel for their vacations. I fall in love with each dog. When the owner returns, their furry family member is happy, content and well exercised. Is their anything better than a dog? Jenny is walked off leash on trails nearby daily, and she did not miss these walks with Marg. All neighbours who met Marg had nothing but good things to say about her and her care for Jenny. She arrived in plenty of time - I had a chance to run through all the routines and explain the quirks of animals and house before leaving in the middle of the night to catch a flight. Marg sent me a couple of emails/texts while I was away which reassured me all was well. On my return the house was immaculate and the animals obviously very relaxed and happy. Marg had made enough food to feed an army, it was lovely to come back to a prepared meal. We kept in touch during our time away and received some fun pics of our dog. On our return after a lengthy journey Marg greeted us with a great home made lunch.
