My home is fully cat-proofed, with any ‘under’ areas securely blocked off. If there are specific parts of your home you’d like your pets to avoid, I’ll make sure to block them off and regularly check that your pets haven’t gotten into them.

Please let me know if your pet is on any medication, including flea treatment, has specific food or medicine preparation needs, allergies, health issues, or if there’s anything else I should be aware of ahead of time.
A typical day
I’ll start by greeting your cat with a hand for sniffing, and offer pets if they’re comfortable. Next, I’ll take care of business—checking food and water, cleaning the litter box, and tidying up the space. After that, we’ll have some playtime with their favorite toys, or I can bring my own wand if they’re okay with it. Once they’ve burned off some energy, I’ll feed them. I’ll then respect their mood—whether they want more playtime, cuddles, or some alone time. Every cat has their own personality and routine, and I’ll make sure to honor that.

Mao was so great with our cat! She followed our feeding instructions perfectly, kept our litter box clean, and was the perfect companion to our little guy while we were away. She always sent us a summary of her visit and photos of our Eggy after each visit. Amazing work!
Mao loves cats, and it shows when she looks after my senior cat Colby. She gives Colby lots of attention by giving him chin and head scratches, playing with him, and letting him be in the same room with her (he's got a bit of separation anxiety). She follows my instructions well, too, when it comes to feeding Colby and cleaning his litter. Mao is definitely someone I trust with my cat.
