I’m a lifelong schnauzer lover, and after losing both of my beloved furbabies within the last three years, my home just hasn’t felt the same. I miss the snuggles, the walks, and that joyful energy they brought to every day. Caring for other pets allows me to share that love again and give your pup the same warmth, patience, and attention I once gave my own. Mamie took excellent care of Sadie and Solo while we were out of town. She kept in contact throughout and sent photos to keep us updated. They both came home happy and healthy. I think Solo became quite attached to Mamie, he seemed sad when she left after dropping them off. He misses her snuggles! I thoroughly recommend Mamie and she will be first the first person we reach out to the next time we go out of town.
Mamie and family were great. Mamie communicated frequently, including sending photo updates. We felt confident that Solo and Sadie were well cared for and happy. It is clear that Mamie loves dogs and I think Solo and Sadie enjoyed their vacation as much as we enjoyed ours.
She did so well with my dog! She went above and beyond for her on walks and pet sits !
If you are looking for someone to trust with your Dogs I definitely say book with Mamie!! Mamie was an amazing host for our pups! At first, I was nervous about finding a sitter for a day while we were on vacation here in Georgia, but as soon as we connected with Mamie, all of those worries disappeared. She took the time to REALLY get to know us and our dogs over face-time before hand, and it was clear they were in great hands, so we followed through and booked! You can truly tell that she loves what she does! Throughout the day, she sent us pictures and text updates, which gave us so much peace of mind. When we picked them up, they were wearing the cutest Christmas bandannas that she had gifted them, and she sent us home with homemade baked goods! Those thoughtful touches meant so much to us. She even took the CUTEST Christmas photos of them, I just had to add them to my gallery ❤️ Thank you so so much Mamie! You are truly such an amazing sitter and person! I think everyone should definitely know to feel at ease when booking with you!
Mamie has cared for my 3 pets many times for as little as a day to as long as a full week. She is reliable, thorough, kind, and best of all caring! My pets love her and don’t mind a staycation without me as long as it means they can hang out with Mamie:) I trust her implicitly and recommend her without reservation!

I run a small design agency part-time and work from home, which gives me a lot of flexibility throughout the day. My schedule naturally revolves around school pickup, homework time, and my kids’ soccer practices— at a dog-friendly park! That means there’s plenty of room in our routine for walks, playtime, and snuggles. Your pet will get consistent attention and care woven right into our daily rhythm, not just “checked in on.”

A typical day starts with a morning walk and some playtime—usually a game of fetch or tug to get those tails wagging. During the day, I spend time working from my home office, and pups love to rest or nap at my feet while I’m at my desk. In the afternoons, we often head to the nearby park (where soccer practice happens, too!) for another walk or a little ball time before dinner and evening snuggles. It’s a calm, loving routine with plenty of attention, exercise, and companionship built in.

- Before booking, I like to learn a little more about your pup to make sure it’s a great fit for everyone. Please let me know if your dog has any special needs, medications, routines, or quirks I should be aware of. Since we have kids in the home, behavior and temperament are very important for everyone’s safety and comfort—both yours and ours. I’m best suited for small to medium dogs (under about 25–30 lbs), especially those who are leash-trained and comfortable around children. Potty-trained pups are always a big plus!
