I am currently a stay at home spouse, looking for a way to be more active, and I thought this would be the best thing! I also had to leave my pets behind in my hometown so I'm looking forward to getting to meet yours!

I typically am most able to care for your animals through housesitting. The way that has worked best in the past has been about an hour long check-in a few times throughout the day, but I can be flexible depending on the animal and what they need. :) My home has pretty much everything up on counters, and in closets so there really isn't anything that they could possibly get into. I keep a very close eye on all the pets I watch, which allows me to understand them and their needs better much, faster.

It's important for me to know if there's any special needs your dog needs me to provide for them. I also heavily prefer knowing the pets personality before they come into my care. Stuff like if they have a history being aggressive, if they're quite shy, where their favorite place to be pet is, their favorite toy, if they're leash trained, do they have a favorite walking route? Stuff like that! I want to ensure your pet is immediately as comfortable as possible with me.

I love playing with dogs, but I also loveee cuddly dogs. Lap dogs are a plus lol. I have a few hiking trails near me that your dogs would love to smell all the smells on, they're only about a 15 minute car ride away.

I had many many childhood pets. I used to farm sit for someone with 30+ goats, 4 dogs, a cow, chickens and others. I now have an Axolotl, three dogs (one red Australian shepherd-boxer mix, and two chihuauas), two bearded dragons, and a leopard gecko. (However I am renting so they are currently back in my hometown). I love love love cats. Grew up pet sitting and it's one of my all time favorite things to do! I will fall in love with every single animal I meet.

Makayla was the absolute best with my two boys! I had never left my younger dog with anyone before and was super nervous about it but they both did amazing with Makayla and she kept me updated the entire time. Could not have worked out better!
Nakayla as flexible and communicative during the entire process. I had no concerns with her taking care of my older pups. 10 out of 10 experience.
Atlas loved staying with Makayla which made my own traveling so much easier! I will definitely be contacting Makayla in the future. She's great with pets and lovely to work with.
Makayla is a really sweet and loving pet owner and pet caretaker. She has multiple dogs along with helping take care of my own. She frequently dog sits for other people so she already had experience with such. She always takes such good care and spends all her time with her pets just hanging out with them.
