I’ve taken care of dogs and other pets since I was a kid. I love being able to take dogs for walks and adventures when possible.

We recently moved and needed a dog sitter on short notice and found Makayl on Rover. Prior to our move Our dogs had only been left with family and one friend so we were very nervous leaving them in a new home with a new sitter. Makayl was great. She sent pictures of the dogs on a walk and they seemed perfectly happy when we got home. We will definitely hire Makayl again and would highly recommend her.

I enjoy getting pets out for exercise and making sure to spend time playing with the dog or cat while watching them. I really want to make sure they’re comfortable when I’m there for them. That is my top priority.

I think it’s important to know how socialized the dog is and the commands they listen to really well. This just helps me provide support to the different dogs I interact with when out in the community.
A typical day
I love going just out in neighborhoods or parks. If there’s time I enjoy exploring new trails and bike paths as well. If a pet is up for a run, I enjoy going running with them!
