I’ve raised my own dogs, including my English bulldog Pancake and my current Frenchie, Meatloaf, so I understand the extra care some dogs need when it comes to pacing, temperature, and overall comfort. I’ve also completed the Fear Free Shelter Program and currently volunteer at Long Beach Animal Care Services, where I work with dogs of all temperaments, including shy and sensitive personalities. My focus is on calm, structured walks and creating a safe, low stress environment where your dog feels comfortable and cared for. Maiko was super friendly and accommodating. My kitties caused an issue at home and she was very prompt on informing me and help me with the situation. I definitely recommend her and will be requesting for her service again!
Maiko was amazing with Teddy! It’s already difficult leaving Teddy at home alone, not knowing if he’d be okay since he needed special attention because he was stuck as a cone head for a couple of weeks, so finding someone that I fully trust to care for him while I was away meant the world to me. Maiko came over to my house to check up on Teddy and they went on so many walks. She was also great with sending pictures and frequently kept me updated! I will be calling Maiko again and recommend her 100%!
I highly recommend Mai taking care of your dog. I couldn’t be happier with the care my dog, Mochi received! I have a doxie and they’re known to be stubborn and have a mind of their own! She was very professional and provided me updates with pictures and videos so I felt totally at ease seeing my dog happy especially during his walks. I will definitely use her again.
Mai is truly amazing—hands down the best dog sitter I’ve ever had. I have two senior dogs with complicated pasts. I adopted them at 7 and 9 years old, and both had been through a lot, so I’m very careful about who I trust with them. While I was on vacation, Mai took such incredible care of them that it completely put my mind at ease. She didn’t just watch them—she really connected with them. One of my dogs used to be afraid of balls, and now actually plays fetch! It’s amazing to see that kind of progress. She spent so much time playing with them, working with them, and making them feel safe and loved. I can genuinely see how much my dogs adore her. She has such a natural, intuitive way of caring for animals—it’s clear she’s really in tune with them. I was honestly nervous about leaving my senior babies with anyone, but Mai turned it into such a positive, heartfelt experience. I couldn’t recommend her more.
Mai has taken care of my dogs multiple times, and I trust her completely. She’s incredibly patient, attentive, and genuinely loves animals. My chihuahuas are usually very picky about people, but they absolutely adore her, which says everything. She goes above and beyond to make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and cared for. Schedule
I have a flexible schedule and am available for morning and midday walks and check-ins on weekdays, with weekend availability as needed. My focus is on calm, reliable, and consistent care for every dog.
