Hello! My name is Maegan and I have been a vet tech for the past 5 years and have had pets my whole life. I cannot only go above and beyond with the necessary care of each pet but can also care for pets that have special needs from old age to medical conditions. If your pet takes medications or needs extra care, not to worry! I am very experienced and can handle anything they may need! I am currently working full time at a veterinary clinic. I am not available for boarding or day care at my house due to having my own pet but am more than happy to go to your house and do drop in visits and walks!

I strive to make this an enjoyable experience given that my drop in visits are the only interaction they get while their family is away. For the dogs I watch, I like to play with them outside either playing with their favorite toy or running around the yard. For the older dogs and indoor cats, I like to sit, relax and give them lots of affection. Depending on their mood we may play with a toy that requires less physical excursion. Meeting their needs and respecting their limits is very important to me!

Prior to my visits, it’s important for me to know the basics such as feeding instructions, where things are located and what activities your pet enjoys. I want to make sure that they are taken care of to the best of my ability while you are away and make it as easy on them and you as possible. Please also let me know if there are any medical needs that your pet has and I’ll be happy to accommodate!
A typical day
I love starting each visit off with play time and physical activity and then winding down with some belly rubs and lots of pets. Making sure I meet their needs and respect their limits is very important.

Availability
I work full time at a veterinary clinic. I either work morning or afternoon but only know my schedule a couple weeks out. I will try to work around my schedule the best I can to fit your needs!
