I currently work for the alabama marine mammal stranding network and although I wish I could at times, I cannot control when a dolphin/whale/manatee washes up on the beach and I am to respond. I am very aware of how demanding my job is and understand I may not be the best match for some pet parents, but I still keep the communication lines open regarding my possibility to be gone for several hours of the day. That being said because I work in Dauphin Island, I can only offer dog walking services to clients on the island, and to clients in Mobile/Mississippi please know I work in DI from 9-5 and have an hour/hour and a half commute

I know when I’m out of town I always wish I had more peace of mind as to when my sitter is with my pets so i do my very best to let each client know when I’m in and out of the house. Usually with pictures of pets to let you know I’m actually there and involved

Information Madison T. would like to know about your pet

Hi! My name is Madison!

Pet care experience

I have taken care of all types of animals sinceI was 8 years old, Neighbors, friends, and family have trusted me with all their cats dogs and lizards for years. I am a full time online and in person student at South Alabama so after school Rover becomes my full time job and top priority I will meet with every client and their pet before every service to make sure the owners and the pets like me and we don’t have any problems later on. I also record all pertinent information such as; emergency contacts, veterinarian information, feeding instructions, medications, and alarm system codes. Every client will receive a copy of my class schedule so they know when I will be at school and when I’m free otherwise. If I cannot do something a client wants I will be very upfront and honest. at our meet and greet I will discuss my typical day, however I usually preform tasks such as taking out the trash on trash day, checking the Mail, and watering the plants. I also proactively communicate with my clients I will let you know when I get to your house and send lots of pictures.

Madison is very nice but I don’t believe her current work schedule is good for dog sitting. She was up front about working long hours but did not mention that there could possibly be times where she would need to work later. She did communicate that she would be late on one day so that we could get someone else to feed the dogs. The most frustrating part was when I came home to dog poop on my floor and the robot vacuum had ran through it, tracking it all through my house and covering the inside of my vacuum… I understand accidents happen especially with someone new taking care of your dogs. But this is not a surprise anyone wants to come home to. Especially because it was in a room that the dogs were not currently in, after looking at the vacuum run history it looks like this happened at the beginning of her stay.

Madison was wonderful with our dog and gave us such peace of mind leaving him for the 11 days she stayed with him. She sent updates constantly and he was having such a great time with her. We will definitely be using her again and I highly recommend her if you are needing a sitter!
