Pet care experience
I've always had a soft spot for animals. Started my career in wildlife rehabilitation and then moved onto Veterinary Medicine in a general hospital. Then I moved onto shelter medicine, helping care for shelter dogs, cats and even small critters! *Why are you no longer a vet tech?* I am still passionate about the care and wellbeing for animals, but the career path was no longer a fit because of the hours and burnout I encountered. I may still go back one day, but currently needed a break.

I have 3 cats of my own who I give attention to, most people don't realize cats also need enrichment so they don't get bored just as much as dogs. I play with cats just the same as dogs and make sure they are happy, well fed according to their schedule and give them treats on special occasions.

As a former Vet Tech I can deal with any special needs, medical attention, extra requests such as nail trims! Any information regarding pet's behavior will be beneficial.
A typical day
I love doing enrichment for dogs and cats! Playing fetch and walking them through neighborhoods, letting them sniff to their heart's content! Can and take them on hikes as well, not just sidewalks. Cats will get all the attention and play time as well!

Availability
I am currently part-time at my current job and off work usually by noon so I will be available all afternoon to care for your pets and give them all the time they need. I have Sundays off completely, Saturdays I am usually working but again only till noon usually.
