I've taken care of mostly medium size dogs since I was a child, but currently care for a husky and shiba inu. I have some experience giving medicines to dogs as well as cats and ferrets. I worked on a farm for a few years and am comfortable handling most animals.

I have a large fenced in property for your pet to run around in and currently have four family pets: two medium sized 9 month old friendly male cats (siblings), a female husky and a female sheba inu. They are friendly, but due to the husky's energy level will be kept separate. I will be walking them through the many beautiful trails behind our homes where they can enjoy new smells. I am fairly strict in the sense that I follow rules set by owners and will crate them if required. I don't yell at children (feel free to ask my 17yr old) or pets. I'm vegan-ish with Buddhist spirituality (if that matters). Feel free to ask any questions. I am exceedingly honest. Oh and I'm fully vaccinated against Covid, including the boosters.

Madelyn was an excellent caregiver watching my high-energy, 2 year old Kelpie mix dog for a long weekend. She shared multiple updates, photos, and videos daily and was super responsive to any questions or reservation adjustments needed. It looked like they had a lot of fun together! Madelyn was amazing, she was very responsive, keeps me updated everyday with pictures and videos of Fengzi, and I genuinely think my Fengzi had an amazing time while staying with her. I would 10/10 recommend and choose her again for the next time!!
I couldn't have asked for a better place for my dog to stay. Madelyn kept me updated constantly with pictures and videos, and took care of my dog like it was her own. I am 100% using Madelyn in the future!

Schedule
I am mostly doing mental health workshops and outreach for LA County virtually. This allows me time to walk, play with, and care for your furry friend. This means I will be away from home for those 2-3hrs 4 days out of the week. Fridays through Mondays are my must available days, usually. Honestly, I hardly go out and will be able to spend lots of time with your pets.
