Disponibilidad
Pet care fits naturally into my flexible schedule. As a graduate student and substitute teacher, I have availability throughout the week for walks, drop-in visits, and sitting appointments. I'm often home working on coursework or lesson planning, which makes me available for dogs who prefer companionship throughout the day. I typically schedule walks in the morning or early evening when dogs (and I!) have the most energy, and I'm happy to adjust timing based on your pet's routine. For in-home sitting, I work from your home when possible so your dog maintains their normal schedule and environment with minimal disruption. I plan my week in advance and communicate early about availability, so you'll always know I'm reliable and prepared for your pet's care. Whether it's a regular weekly walk or occasional sitting when you travel, I make sure pet care commitments are a priority in my calendar.

Dog Walking: I tailor each walk to your dog's energy level and preferences. Whether they love a brisk pace or prefer to stop and sniff, I follow their lead while keeping them safe and engaged. I always keep dogs securely leashed, stay alert to surroundings, and bring water for longer walks. You'll get updates with photos so you can see the fun we had! Drop-In Visits: During drop-ins, I follow your established routine closely—feeding, medication, potty breaks, playtime, and plenty of affection. I'll also bring in mail, water plants, or adjust blinds if needed. I treat your home with respect and make sure everything is left just as you'd want it. Your pet gets focused attention during each visit, not a quick in-and-out. In-Home Sitting: When staying in your home, I maintain your dog's normal schedule to minimize stress—same feeding times, walking routes, and bedtime routines. I'm comfortable administering medications, and I'll keep your home secure and tidy. Since I often work remotely on coursework, your dog gets companionship throughout the day rather than being left alone. I send regular photo updates so you can see they're happy and settled while you're away. In all services, I prioritize safety, clear communication, and making sure your pet feels comfortable and cared for.

To provide the best care for your dog, I'd love to know: Personality and temperament: Are they shy, energetic, anxious, or super social? How do they typically react to new people? Health needs: Any medications, allergies, dietary restrictions, or physical limitations I should be aware of? Routine preferences: Feeding schedule, favorite walking routes, bedtime habits, and any specific rituals that help them feel secure Behavior quirks: Do they pull on leash, have separation anxiety, resource guard, or react to other dogs? I want to be prepared, not surprised! Emergency contacts: Your vet's information and who to call if I can't reach you House rules: Where are they allowed? Any off-limit areas or furniture? Specific commands or training cues you use? Comfort items: Favorite toys, treats, or anything that helps them feel at ease The more I know upfront, the smoother the transition will be for your pup. I want them to feel safe and happy from the moment we meet, and clear communication helps me provide care that fits seamlessly into their world!

My day with your dog starts with a morning greeting and breakfast (following your feeding schedule). After they've had time to digest, we head out for a walk or backyard playtime—I love seeing their excitement for the day ahead! Mid-morning, while I work on coursework or lesson planning, your dog gets cozy nearby with access to their favorite spots and toys. I take breaks throughout the day for play sessions, training practice, or just some quality cuddle time on the couch. Afternoon brings another walk or outdoor time, and I make sure they're getting the mental stimulation and physical activity they need. Evenings include dinner, a final potty break, and winding down together—maybe with a puzzle toy or relaxing on the couch while I read or work. Before bed, I ensure they're comfortable and settled in their usual sleeping spot. Throughout the day, I'm attentive to their signals and adjust activities based on their energy and mood.

Experiencia en el cuidado de mascotas
Hi, I'm Madeline! I've been a devoted dog parent for 11 years and have spent the last 5 years caring for other families' pets. Whether your pup needs an energetic walk or comfortable in-home sitting while you're away, I'm here to provide the same love and attention I give my own dog. With a decade of experience working with children of all ages, I understand that every personality is unique—and dogs are no different! I take time to learn each pet's individual needs, preferences, and quirks to make sure they feel safe, happy, and engaged while in my care. When I'm not working on my Master's degree, you'll find me enjoying quality time with my own pup and creating positive experiences for the animals I care for. I believe in clear communication with pet parents and will keep you updated with photos and messages so you can relax knowing your furry family member is in good hands. I can't wait to meet you and your dog!

Madeline was very good with my high energy dog. Would definitely book again, thank you!

Madeline is the best! Our dogs love her and we have found her to be very reliable. When she makes visits, she is intentional about giving the dogs extra attention.
Madline had an instant connection with my puppy. He's always excited to see her and pouts when she doesn't come. She is a lovely young woman and I would highly recommend her.

Madeline was great to work with.
