Availability
As stated in my experience section, pet sitting is my only job, and I do it full-time. This means I can dedicate all my time and energy to giving pets the best care possible! For drop-in visits, I will come to your home at either a predetermined time, or wherever it fits in my schedule (this will depend on your pets needs, and we will discuss it ahead of time!) I will stay for a minimum of the time you have booked, but I often stay for longer (with permission) to help build the bond with your pets! For house sitting, I will typically “live” in your home for the duration of the stay. Depending on my schedule, I can spend as much as 6 hours a day out of the house, but this is not common outside of the summer time and holiday season. At the very minimum, I would spend a few hours in the morning and evening with your pets, and cat stay overnight as well!

I can care for pets both inside and outside. I will happily take pets on walks, into the yard, to the park. etc. to get play time and exercise! I have even taken cats on walks before. I can also care for pets solely inside the home, and provide meals, playtime, companionship, and more. I always strive to ensure I am providing the best for your individual pet given their specific needs!

Before a visit, it is helpful know your pet’s routine, preferences, personality, and any other important information—such as things they may get into if no one’s looking, if they take medication, or if they may try to escape.
A typical day
In a typical visit with a pet, I would start by greeting with lots of pets and attention. Then, I would follow the schedule for care as set by you (the owner) and do things like take him/her for a walk, feed them, refresh their water bowl, clean litter box, etc. I also always make sure to give pets companion time and spend at least a few minutes giving them undivided attention!

Pet care experience
I have always been a pet lover from a young age, starting with the family cats I grew up with. Now, I love spending time with all the pet I care for, and I always treat them as if they were my own! I have spent a lot of time in the last few years learning about animals, including their behaviors and what they mean, the best way to care for them, the needs of different breeds, and more. I specialize in cats, specifically shy, anxious, or fearful cats that need a bit more patience and attention. But I am happy to care for any and all animals, including dogs, bunnies, birds, and even reptiles. I make it a priority to give the absolute best care to every pet I am responsible for, and make it my mission to bond with even the most shy or anxious animals. I will always go out of my way to give the highest quality care possible, so your pets will be safe, comfortable, and happy when you are traveling! I moved to Stockholm 3.5 years ago, and I have been caring for pets here for around 3 years. Before living here, I spent years as a pet sitter in the US. It is my full time job, so you can be assured that I will devote a lot of time to your pets. My schedule is also very flexible, so I can generally accommodate last minute or unusual requests. *requests for those living far outside the inner city may have additional fees added due to increased travel time—but this can be discussed before booking*
