Your doggies and I will equally enjoy long walks together, running around the yard, playing fetch, doing tricks-for-treats, or any other fun or silly activities your dog likes - just let me know! And lots of pets and belly scratches are a guarantee. With kitties, we can hang inside playing on the cat tree with a wand toy, sniffing some catnip, eating some tasty treats, and getting lots of snuggles and loves (unless your kitty prefers love that's more hands-off!! Then I can just sit with them and talk to them in a soothing, loving manner).

Before my most recent job working at a well-known nonprofit animal shelter caring for dogs and cats everyday, I worked at a dog breeder’s for 3 years, and have been pet-sitting for over 15 years. With my extensive background in pet care, you can feel at ease knowing your furry friends are in excellent hands! I’m comfortable with all aspects of pet care, for both cats and dogs - walking your pups, letting them in-and-out, feeding, watering, showering with treats (and love), brushing, cleaning up after them, playing fetch with your dog out in the yard or inside with your kitty and a wand toy. I’ve worked successfully with all temperaments, from the hyperactive and easily overstimulated to the shy and fearful. I have both personal and professional experience administering medication to animals. Furthermore, I have professional experience training dogs, and am happy to keep up on the training you’ve already given your pups while they’re in my care.

Madeleine has walked our juvenile Aussie twice now. As a fellow Rover sitter myself, I have pretty high standards, and she has been great. Easy to communicate with, good attention to detail, and willing to help with the training protocols we are using related to polite greeting & walking. 👍🏼 🙏

Madeleine has cared for our high energy golden retriever multiple times, including taking her for walks. She always provides the best care. She is very professional and thorough in taking the time to understand our dog’s specific needs and our expectations for her care while we are away. Whenever she watches our dog, we feel very at ease that she has been given plenty of love and attention. I highly recommend Madeleine for any of your pet sitting or dog walking needs.
I am someone who has never kenneled my beloved dog and I have always paid friends/family to come stay in my home with my dog when we vacation. We moved about 2 years ago and in doing so, made it alot harder for our pre-existing pool of pet sitters to make the drive commitment. I am incredibly particular about who I trust to care for my dog (and I've honestly heard a few horror stories about pet sitters found on these type sites) so I was super nervous try out someone I'd never met. But Madeleine was local to my community, very easy to communicate with, and I got a good impression from her upon meeting her. She took lots of notes during our meet and greet, was gracious about my being a helicopter dog-mom with lots of asks, and she gave me a committed time she'd show up in my home and then be there for the duration of my trip. I've now used her at least 4 times I believe and I have another trip planned next month. When you love your dog as much as I do, It is such a relief to have someone you can count on and trust. She has been reliable and my dog really seems to connect with her well. She gives me pictures and updates while I am gone, which is super appreciated. She does what she says she will which I personally place alot of value in. And she leaves my home clean when she is done for the week. Oh, and I recently had to add a heart medication to the care needs my dog has, and she was able to take that on with zero issue. Madeleine is definitely a great option for someone looking for quality pet care for their fur baby.
