Pet care experience
Ive always known that taking care of animals is what makes me happy and what I want to do with my life. I worked at a animal hospital for over a year as a a caregiver for the boarding and recovering pets and as an assistant during exams and surgery’s. I am trained to administer medication, and to care for dogs of various temperaments and conditions. I volunteer at the animal shelter as often as possible, and am currently going to school with the intent of starting my own boarding facility and animal rescue. I have pet sit for many people through work and friends, and now Rover. I am excited to offer boarding in my own home, as taking care of dogs is my dream job. I take pride in caring for others as I’d hope my animals would be cared for.

Maddy took great care of our dogs! We would definitely have them stay with her again.
It’s always a little stressful, leaving your pup with someone new, but Maddy was so great! I was able to meet her a week before we planned to leave. Once I did drop Harley off, Maddie sent great updates with cute pictures. I was confident that Harley was in good hands while I was away.

I have a clutter free, one story home with fenced in backyard that is great for dog boarding. Animals are allowed on all the furniture, but it is no problem to keep their normal routine if you’d prefer them not on the furniture. I have blankets and extra water bowls that I keep full with filtered water. Feel free to bring as many items from home, including stairs to get on the furniture.

Please let me know if your dog is not potty trained or house trained. It is also good to know if your dog tends to bolt out the front door, or if they can be aggressive on walks. All of these things are no problem, it’s just good to know ahead of time so I can be prepared.
A typical day
I live right on Panther Creek which has a beautiful lake to walk around, and there are many trails. I like to sit in the backyard and sunbathe with the dogs, and play fetch and tug-o-war. We can practice tricks and of course lounge around the house. If there are any other activities your dog enjoys let me know and I will be sure to incorporate them!

Availability
Pet sitting is perfect for my routine since I have a dog of my own, and I love to walk. I’m up early to spend time with my pup and let her out. I am typically home, and when I’m not I have a roommate that also lets the dogs out in the back if needed.
