Just love animals!
I’ve had pets or looked after them ever since I was 10 years old, growing up in a household that at one point had a dog, a parrot and 4 cats! I’ve grown up loving animals and owned my own dog for the last 9 years. I trained him from 11 weeks old and I think he’s turned out pretty good ❤️

Maddie was so wonderful with my 7-month-old puppy! It was his first time being away from us overnight, and she went above and beyond to make him comfortable, including sleeping on the couch next to his kennel when he wouldn’t settle. They had so much fun, and I got lots of photos (including a little Polaroid to keep, which was a lovely touch). We’d definitely book Maddie again in the future and highly recommend!

Maddie is a great dog minder. She is so thorough, dedicated, flexible and dependable. She has shown such kindness to our arthritic dog, dealing with her meds, limited walks and specific exercises. Plus she's a lovely human!
Maddie was great, I received daily photos and videos of Daisy which was great, and she was very well looked after. Daisy was a happy pup when I picked her up!

Instagram - maddierover 📸 I work from home regularly so am available through the day on many weeks, I am often also available at weekends. I try to keep my calendar as up to date as possible, but sometimes being away with work does come up last minute, if this happens I have a good network of friends who are also on Rover and we help each other out with clients. I can be pretty flexible because of being able to work from home, so would be around most of the day and in the evenings unless I have to go out for face to face meetings or have rugby training. Important for boarding - I have a a dog of my own (cocker spaniel), so for any enquiries for it’s important that they are good with other dogs. My flat backs onto rugby fields and I’m 5 mins from cleeve hill and the racecourse so there’s plenty of options for running around.

I would like to know I’m a good fit for you and your pet and meet them prior to agreeing any work, so I can make sure that we can set mutual expectations and find out additional information such as dietary needs, or if they might chew my shoes 😅, so that I can ensure that I can take the best care of your fur baby. I allow pets on the furniture, but I will stay consistent with whatever your needs are for your pet and how they usually are at home.

A typical day
Play time with toys, learning and earning treats, exploring the local neighbourhood and where the best walks are. Meeting friends dogs where appropriate so they can have some dog playtime too!
