FT Dog Care Pro 24/7 40+y
Pet care experience
I'm an experienced owner, foster mom, and dog care pro. I volunteer with Shelter2Rescue Coalition, part of the No Kill Coalition. I'm a volunteer, foster mentor, and trainer for Schnauzer Rescue of Texas, Cody's Friends Rescue, doodle rescue. Pooch Savers, and TexasGSP. I also do home visits for other rescues in Tarrant/Johnson counties. No children or cats. I offer a reduced rate of $35/day for new clients (applies to first 3 days of booking). I offer a fun and safe host home for your dogs when you're traveling, and devoted care for seniors/special needs who require extra attention. *Under 30lbs only* You don’t need to worry about your dog being left out in the heat or not having a sweater when it’s cold. The indoor sunroom is heated and air conditioned and filled with various beds/rugs so all dogs’ preferences are respected, including those who want to hang out on my lap or on windowsills to check out the action in the front or backyard. Seniors & meds ... I can accommodate dogs who are medically fragile and/or senior. I had flood lights installed in my back yard to help seniors with failing eyesight. Inside, I have plug-in night lights at floor level. No extra charge for meds or additional care; after all, at some point we're all falling apart. Special needs dogs who prefer privacy and need more monitoring enjoy the "senior center" that can be customized for the dog's needs and preferences. Health and safety ... Small dogs never go potty in the back yard without me or my dog as escort. Guests don't have access to an external door. My 6' privacy fence is new, regularly inspected, and the perimeter is lined with stone. I need shot records for every dog in my care. Guests are spayed/neutered, housebroken, and flea- and tick-free when dropped off. For the peace of the pack, guests cannot be aggressive, have separation anxiety, or be nonstop barkers. I book by the day (versus night).

Lynda was wonderful with our Frenchie!! She sent lots of pictures and updates while we were on vacation. Will use again-

This was our first time leaving Maisy while we were away with someone other than a family member. Before we would take Maisy pretty much everywhere with us, then the past year or so my nephew would watch Maisy while we traveled, however since he was moving back home to IL, we were in a bind with an out of state trip already planned to beautiful San Diego. I did some searching online for a sitter to watch Maisy and came across Lynda's Profile. After reading very many positive reviews I decided to reach out and ask for a meet and greet. Lynda was more than willing to do so and set it up. After feeling pretty comfortable after meeting Lynda, I locked in the agreement with Lynda to watch Maisy this past week while we vacationed. After the hesitation of dropping Maisy off, my mind was immediately set at ease when I received a picture of Maisy immediately after I left of her "doing her business" in the backyard, lol. While we were away, Lynda provided many texts and pictures of what Maisy was doing and getting into. This put our mind very much at ease and allowed us to enjoy the wonderful southern California weather without worrying. I highly recommend Lynda and will definitely be using her again when we are in need of a sitter.

Tate had a fabulous stay with Lynda and we were thrilled with her service. She was communicative, knowledgeable, kind and caring. She was thorough with his care and very attentive to his needs. We received lots of pictures and videos, and it was clear that he got more and more comfortable with his stay. We have already booked her again for a trip later in the summer! We are thrilled to have found such a wonderful dogsitter for our little guy :) If you are looking for an attentive, knowledgeable, kind and compassionate dog sitter who loves animals and has all the experience you could ask for Lynda is a fantastic fit!

Lynda was amazing! Lucy enjoyed her stay with Lynda and was clearly well taken care of. The daily photos and/or videos put my mind at ease being away from Lucy for so long. Lynda is so calm and knowledgeable about to make our little fur babies feel at ease in a new place. I can’t recommend her more. Thank you Lynda! 🥰

I’m located off of Hwy 287 between Turner Warnell and Debbie in a quiet, low-traffic subdivision. My backyard is a dog park. My co-host Marie was 4 yo when I adopted her from TexasGSP in 2017. She’ll let any dog eat out of her bowl, is completely nonreactive, and serves as therapist to foster dogs and first-time guests. She’s the leader of the couch potato gang. Dogs are never left outside in the heat/cold. Most prefer the sofas and cushy floor beds. My yard is a fortress, with stone edging and a secure/locked fence. It is designed for dog safety. I'm unable to board pit/pit mixes, rotties, etc.

Are your dogs allowed on furniture? Where do they sleep? What words do you use for potty breaks? Tell me what will make your dog's stay the best it can be. I want my guests to be as relaxed in my home as they are in their own homes. About me --- I'm a retired book editor and a member of Rush Creek church.
