Flexible, Experienced Animal Lover!
Hi! 👋🏻 I have lots of personal and professional experience with animals. Growing up, we had fish, cats, and gerbils. I’ve been active on care platforms for about 9 years now. I have also worked for Preferred Pet Partners, a local pet care company, where I have administered medication, (including insulin shots and IV fluids for both cats and dogs), fed, walked, and played with many different species of pets. Most of my pet care experience has been staying overnight at clients’ houses so I would be comfortable doing so. I have a work laptop and am able to work remotely from your home, as long as I can connect to wifi, even better if I can connect directly to a modem. I have personally had a rescue dog, fish, gerbils, and a hedgehog of my own. I have cared for cats, dogs, birds, reptiles and assorted rodents. I am always putting myself in the animal’s shoes, and believe I understand animals more than most people. I am mostly a very calm and chill person which I have found to be especially comforting to animals. :)

Lydia did a great job with our dogs. She was a great communicator and kept us updated on how things were going. She was intentional to stick to our dogs’ routine. A neighbor’s dog (2 houses away) jumped their fence but was still behind our fence, causing our dog to freak out; Lydia was able to get him inside to calm down. We are so grateful for her wonderful care!
Lydia did amazing with our dogs during her drop in visit. She was available on short notice and came for a meet n greet a couple of days prior. I’ll definitely consider Lydia to help watch our pups in the future!

Lydia is hands down the best pet sitter there is! She was the easiest person to work with and communication was top notch! She took the best care of our little girl and loved her as her own! My Maltese is always used to someone being there and is always wanting to be right by someone- Lydia went above and beyond to make sure all her needs were met and she was comfortable! She let our home spotless! I felt so safe having her there watching Lexi and made our vacation just even more amazing not having to worry one time about her needs or how she was doing! Lydia sent updates and pictures and loved our girl like no other! I would HIGHLY recommend her and will be using her again!

I’m currently working remotely full time, but also have an internship for full days Tuesday-Thursday during the week. I will most likely be unable to provide midday care.
