Punctual, professional, responsive, and passionate, Luz loves pets and it shows! She'll treat your pets with the same level of care as her own, will make sure they and your home are taken care of, and will keep you up to date with everything going on with them when you're away. Highly recommended.

Luz is a warm and friendly person. She maintains a caring and genuine concern for people and animals. This is an important quality to have as a pet caregiver because (in my experience) animals are highly attuned and adversely responsive to negative energy. Both of my rabbits (Greyson and Judy) responded well to Luz's presence. My interactions with Luz have been positive both in-person and telephonically. I have bunny rabbits which are high maintenance pets that require a lot of care (especially in hot climates like Los Angeles); Luz was able to follow my instructions. Unlike cats or dogs, my bunny babies have to eat hay throughout the whole day as well as have fresh greens in the morning and night--- in addition to being offered Timothy Hay pellets as treats. Any deviation from this diet could result in my rabbits having G.I. stasis which can kill rabbits swiftly. Luz made sure to replenish the hay in Greyson and Judy's litter box. Often times, rabbits will pee and soil their hay so a pet caregiver has to be attentive to making sure they have fresh hay to eat throughout the day. Also, Luz made sure to watch Greyson and Judy eat their veggies together because if left unsupervised, Greyson would eat more of Judy's veggies. Luz assured me that both rabbits got to eat their fair share. Additionally, since I live in a hot area, Luz was responsible for ensuring that my home was cool enough because any rabbit could die from heat exhaustion at temperatures 77 degrees (or more). As much as I love my rabbits, they can sometimes look for trouble. I alerted Luz with respect to certain behaviors that could happen but were preventable if caught in time. When she noticed one of my rabbits hopping on my bed, she carefully supported their feet with one arm and pulled Judy close to her chest to then gently put my rabbit down on the floor since Judy has a habit of peeing on my bed. Luz stopped Judy in time from making a mess. Personally, I like to write out my instructions with photos to reinforce how I would like my bunnies to be taken care of. I also prefer when pet caregivers call me if they have questions versus making assumptions. Luz was someone I was able to trust to take care of my two rabbits (Greyson and Judy).
