At this time, I only offer boarding services at the home of the client. This is because dogs learn visually and situationally, so it's important for the training work to be done in the animal's home in order to get the most bang for your buck.

All of my work has a training component; after all, in dog training it’s often more about what the dog is not allowed to which shapes their long term behaviors for the better. All food is earned via mental activities and consistent structure creates positive habits that displace the unwanted ones.

** My next available dates for Board & Train are January 6-11 & 18-24th within 15 mins of central Austin. I have a BA in Photography from the University of Texas at Austin, so I can take really great pictures of your pets, but most importantly, I am a high functioning, detail oriented empath with over 6 years of full-time canine training experience. My specialty is with sporting dogs and fear/hyperactive cases of all kinds, but I also have some training experience with cats and horses. I am based in Austin, Texas and will be doing training as I travel the US seasonally. I just completed 4 months in the St. Louis area, and am currently working through the end of November in the Vail Valley of Colorado! Check me out at Super Simple Dog Training. My base housesitting service offering will give you peace of mind knowing that your dog's "non-ideal" behaviors will likely get a little better, depending of the duration of the stay; This outcome is simply based on my normal behavioral expectations and keeping the undesirable behaviors from continuing to be a daily habit. If you are need of a combination of training and in-home boarding/housesitting, I offer my Board & Train Service to those who have completed 2 or more private training sessions (zoom sessions do the trick). Luke is a perfect house/pet-sitter with years of experience as a professional dog trainer and lifelong animal lover. He took care of our cat while we traveled and is reliable and great communicator. His amazing black Labrador partner "Charlie" is the most well behaved dog I have ever seen which gives me confidence to have him watch my pet. And Charlie was super sweet with our cat. We have known Luke for several months and during this time he worked with the training/socialization of our Border Collie, Brogan. As a trainer Luke is gentle, effective , caring, and mindful of a pet's needs. As a house sitter he is trusted,safe, and attentive to your pet and your home. Luke and Charlie, his dog, are an engaging pair. Recently, Luke house sat with Brogan. We were kept updated of Brogan's busy time with Luke and Charlie via texts and videos of their adventures together. He demonstrates a strong commitment and respect for the well being of both your pet and your home.
