I spent 3 months last fall volunteering at a dog shelter (5 days a week, 4 hours a day), I’ve worked many dog and cat sitting jobs, and I’ve had my rescue dog Artie for 14 years. I have experience with puppies, senior and rescue dogs.

A typical day
All dogs have different needs, but an example of a typical day dog sitting for me is waking up early to go out for a walk, giving breakfast and any medications, hanging out inside with a book if the dog likes cuddles, going out for a midday walk and playing fetch, playing guitar if the dog doesn’t mind (some love it some hate it), getting some work done, feeding dinner and giving any medications, and taking them out for a bathroom break before bed.

Availability
I’m currently home until September and looking for some extra work! I have a full time summer job but am available for house-sitting the last week of August, as well as able to do local dog walks or drop-in visits most mornings.
