I have experience caring for dogs of all sizes and temperaments and have grown up around a wide range of animals, including dogs, cats, horses and donkeys, so caring for animals has always been a big part of my life. I have a BSc (Hons) in Bioveterinary Science, giving me a strong understanding of animal health, welfare and behaviour and I am currently studying a Master’s degree in Animal Nutrition. I am passionate about providing reliable, attentive and welfare-focused care, and ensuring every pet feels safe, comfortable and well looked after.

When caring for pets in their owner’s home, I always prioritise their safety, comfort and individual routine. I take the time to understand their usual feeding, exercise, medication and daily routine, as well as any specific behaviours or needs. I keep the home secure, follow the owner’s instructions carefully and make sure pets have access to fresh water and a safe, comfortable environment. I treat every home with the same care and respect I would my own, keeping things clean and tidy and making sure doors, gates and windows are secure before I leave. I’ll also keep owners updated during visits (with lots of pictures of your pet too!) and let them know straight away if I have any concerns about their pet.

Luanna has dog/house sat for us on numerous occasions and we cannot recommend her enough. Luanna is very reliable, respectful and very caring and kind with animals. Our dogs have always been very happy in her company and well looked after. She followed every care instruction given. The house was also well looked after and kept clean. Leaving our home and dogs in her care has been completely stress free.
Luanna took amazing care of my dog! She followed my instructions to the letter and left my home absolutely spotless when house and dog sitting. She’s really knowledgeable on dogs and super caring. 10/10 would recommend.
Lu has looked after Bertie a number of times now, and she is honestly my number one choice when it comes to caring for my dog. I was so lucky that Lu was able to step in at the last minute when I had to travel for two weeks, and she was absolutely exceptional. I never once worried about Bertie while I was away, which meant so much to me. She even managed to teach him to spin and sit for his harness, something I hadn’t even managed to do yet! Lu is incredibly patient, kind and caring, and Bertie absolutely adores her. He gets so excited every time she arrives, which says everything about how much he loves being with her. Finding someone I could completely trust with Bertie was my number one priority, and I genuinely feel like I’ve found that in Lu. She treats him with so much love and care, and I couldn’t recommend her highly enough. Any pet would be incredibly lucky to have Lu looking after them! ❤️

Schedule
My Master’s degree is studied online and part-time, which gives me a flexible schedule alongside my studies. This allows me to organise my time around my pet care commitments and offer reliable availability throughout the week. I’m able to plan my study time around bookings, meaning I can give each pet the time, attention and care they need without it interfering with my studies. I’m organised and responsible with my time, and I enjoy having the flexibility to make pet care a regular part of my day.
