Freedom you & your pets deserve

Pet care experience

I have had dogs in my life since I was a child. I am used to walking two big dogs together. I have integrated a cat to two different dogs.

This was our first time using this service and I have to say I would highly recommend Lorraine, from start to finish she was accommodating with our 2 little pugs! She had them for 2 nights and kept us informed regularly of how they were and when they went for walks putting our minds at rest. I really can’t thank her enough and will definitely go back to her thank you Lorraine!! From Hayley Darren Princess & Betty xx

Lorraine had Obi, my young husky, again for another day and night. Once again was wonderful with him despite his antics. He was thrilled to go back and stay with her and her nephew, and came home tired and very happy. Thank you again for your patience and being so good with him.

Lorraine had my 15 month-old husky for a day and overnight. From the initial meet and greet, I felt much more relaxed about him staying away from home. Being a husky, Obi is high energy and has his quirks. Lorraine and her nephew were brilliant with him. I was kept up to date with regular pictures throughout the day. Obi had homemade dog ice cream, went on some good length walks and played a lot. I have brought home one happy and tired dog. Her garden is very secure and she was very good at keeping up Obi's routine.

Lorraine was warm and friendly..a real doggy person. She looked after our boy Rufus really well and was very considerate of him. She kept us up to date with how he was doing and sent us plenty of photos. She looked after him as if he was her own. We would definitely recommend her and use her services again.

I have a fully enclosed garden, I needed it with two escape artists. I will use a crate if this is your preference, I prefer not to unless the dog is destructive when left on their own. Always send photo's so you know your family is my family when your away.

Information Lorraine R. would like to know about your pet

What breed is your dog? What is the pets routine-How often do they need toilet breaks/Times for feeding/favourite toys? Do they have any Special dietary requirements? Any disabilities I need to know about? Do they have any Medical issues or allergies? Do they need to have medications administered? What are your preferences about them being around other dogs? What is their behaviour like on a walk? Is the pet signed up with a vet, who should I contact in an emergency? Is there anything that scares your pet?

A typical day

I have a 30 minute or hour route for dog walking near my home. I have a large playing field at the end of my street for shorter walks and playing fetch, but happy to take dogs in car for longer walks. I believe dogs should always be stimulated whether this be talking to them or playing with them. A way to stimulate dogs is to rotate their toys and playing brain games with them.

My son is all grown up so there are no young children at my home. My adult nephew stays with me and sometimes helps with walks. Being made redundant opened me up to have more time to flourish my pet sitting business, but I am now currently employed with the NHS working full time. Now I do board and doggy day care on my days off, but I am happy to work with a dog walker, I can do the morning and evening walks if they attend during the day. If you need a longer stay than a few days. You can see from my reviews and photos of my clients how much I love having pets around again after my two lovely huskies both passed. One of my clients comes to my home for overnight stays, the other I go to their home and stay with their two dogs whether this be overnight or long holidays abroad for the owners as one of the dogs is deaf and partially blind.
