A holiday for your dog on the farm
Pet care experience
My first dog was a Springer X Beagle arguably one of the most challenging dogs to look after as she was clever crossed with disobedient. But she was my insides and I loved her despite how mischievous she was. She unfortunately had cancer and passed away in my arms in 2018. Since I have been lucky enough to be a human slave to three Pointers who have all been rescues with their own challenges. Leaving your pet with someone you don't know so well can be incredibly daunting, but with me they would live the life of riley. With fenced acres to roam in, utter peace and isolated tranquillity, two dogs to play with. There very own human slave to pick up their poop, give them cuddles should the want them and fresh eggs for treats (if they are allowed) they would have more of a holiday than you would!

As usual Alfie had a wonderful time with Lorna, Kay and the dogs. In fact, he would have been very happy to stay longer! I can thoroughly recommend Lorna to care for your dog!

Lorna was amazing, she was very responsive and gave us confidence that Ziggy was going to be well taken care of. She provided plenty of updates and re assured us Ziggy was having a great time. I think he had a better holiday than us, would definitely recommend Lorna, Ziggy could not have been taken care of better.

The field is entirely fenced, in some placed double fenced due to lay out and I am 3 miles to the nearest main road. I have many animals but they are all in fenced paddocks or defined separate areas. It would be great to know what your dog needs/is used to from their human slaves so I can attempt to match that !

Does your dog have any reactivity issues around food or resource guarding? Does your dog prefer cuddles or own space? Does your dog want big romps or smaller strolls?
A typical day
My dogs enjoy plenty of gun dog training exercises (our neighbour is a gundog trainer) I can do these with your pooch! Mable my own dog love ball play and Maverick would play with your dog for hours if he could!

Availability
I live on a smallholding with goats, sheep, chickens, turkeys and duck. So much of my day is spent outside. My two Pointer x Brittany dogs are with me all day everyday and we walk on the common land behind the house, rarely seeing another soul. A dog that came to stay with us would enjoy that same freedom, days spent in the field or up on the common. With quiet rest time available beside the warm pellet boiler or roaring fire in the house. In the summer dogs can enjoy a swim in our private river bank access (if that is they like swimming!)
