Pet care experience
While I was at university this was my full time job, so I have plenty of experience caring for all kinds of animals, from dogs to cats, variety of mammals, all ages and sizes. During this time I sat for dogs who had special needs, which was never an issue. Also growing up I've worked on small holdings, farms and and animal sanctuaries. I have just returned home from a 2 year work and travel trip in Canada, and have decided to reboot my Rover career.

We couldn’t be more grateful to Lorcán for the wonderful care he gave our dog, Ozzy. From the moment they met, it was clear that Lorcán has a natural way with animals—kind, calm, and attentive. Ozzy can be a bit particular, but he settled in quickly and clearly felt relaxed and happy in Lorcán’s care. Lorcán kept us updated with regular messages and photos, which gave us such peace of mind while we were away. It was lovely to see Ozzy enjoying his walks, snoozing contentedly, and getting plenty of affection. We came home to a very happy, well-looked-after dog—and we’re pretty sure Ozzy was disappointed to see Lorcán go! Highly recommend Lorcán to anyone looking for a reliable, caring, and responsible pet sitter. We’ll definitely be asking him again.

I take keeping your dog safe very seriously. I never let a clients dog off the lead when walking it, even if the client does this, I don't. I keep as close as i can to the dogs normal routine, to make them feel comfortable. I follow any instructions left to me by the owner to the letter.
Information Lorcán B. would like to know about your pet
I would like to know the size of the dog (although I am comfortable to look after any dog of any size). I would also like to know the dog's behaviour (whether it is defensive, scared or affectionate, etc). Also the diet of the dog, and anything medical, such as medicines, diet or allergies is really important. If the owner has anything else that they feel I may need to know about the dog before sitting him/her, that would be greatly appreciated too.
A typical day
I will take your dog on local walks (length of walks are to your preference, eg. multiple short walks a day, or one longer walk a day, etc.). I will also play with your dog with whatever toys are available and give it all the attention and love that it needs. I will feed your dog the meal that is provided by the owner.
