Hi there, my name is Liza and I'm thrilled you've taken the time to look at my profile. When you choose me as your pet sitter, you're choosing someone with experience, passion and who will treat your dog, cat, or other friend just like you do. I have cared for dogs since birth. They've always been a part of my family and it was only natural that I would find a career in dog care. Currently I have a special needs dog in my home who I love very dearly, and she has taught me how to care for dogs who have a more difficult path in life. Chances are I can accommodate your special needs pet too! I have been dog walking and dog and cat sitting on and off for ten years, and have only glowing reviews from my clients. My heart is full of love for every animal I meet and it is my utmost desire to do right by them. Completely by accident, my best friend is a cat, so if you have a feline friend, I can help with them too. I take time and care to treat every animal right. I am always early, if not on time, and make sure to clean everything up. I am experienced and have previously worked as a dog walker for an hour a day at a doggie daycare. I would not recommend Liza for dog walking. I’ve been working with her for the last couple of months. One day, I noticed my dog was in her crate during the time a walk was scheduled (Liza ended the Rover card almost 10min after my dog had been in her crate already), and another day Rover tracking showed only 0.1 miles. I mentioned that we were aiming for closer to a mile when possible so she could get enough exercise, and Liza agreed to try for at least 20 minutes of walking within the 30 minute booking. I also asked if she could track walks with another app since Rover’s GPS seemed glitchy, but she said she wasn’t able to.
I cannot compliment Liza enough! As a new cat mom I didn’t know what to expect as this was my first time being away from Gigi; yet Liza was fantastic and made me feel at ease from day one. She matched Gigi perfectly: recognized her quirks and was great at playing with her and giving her the attention she craved. Liza assured me with check-ins and photos. I feel confident that we have a new forever friend.

However when I do visits to your home while you are away, I will do everything I can to make sure your pets feel as comfortable and safe as possible. The goal is to stick to a routine and keep elements of what you would be doing with them were you home, so that they do not feel too thrown out of what is normal. I will love on them and give them as much care as I am able in lieu of your presence.

I have worked with all kinds of dogs, from the very large to the very small. I also have experience with special needs dogs and giving medication. I'd love to know what your expectations are for the stay.
A typical day
I will play with your dog, cuddle them, and take them on long and exciting walks. I will do whatever I can to make them happy and make their time with me enjoyable. I am happy for older and low energy pets to just sit with them and pet them, or sit on a bench while they lay in the grass.

I have a fear aggressive rescue Pomeranian right now who only goes for one walk a day in the morning, and one very sweet cat. So I am fully committed for the rest of my day to caring for other people’s pets.
