Safety, trust & environment
I have 2 cats so I won't be pet sitting at my house, but going to others' homes will always be safety focused. Keeping doors locked while away is a must if the family is not home. Putting leashes on prior to leaving the home for a walk; buckling up dogs if we go on any adventure to dog parks or on leash trails. Pets and families will be treated with the utmost respect. I won't push pets to do things I can tell they aren't comfortable with, and I appreciate all the notes on your pets' training/comfort levels.
Information Liz J. would like to know about your pet
I would love to have a meet & great with pets and parents, just to see how I can best assist with their pets' needs. But most of all, I'd love to know what kind of walker the dog usually is, if the parents want me to pay close attention to something they don't want the pet to get into, like if they're a grass eater, so I can avoid areas such as that. Knowing the normal route of a walk. Things such as this to make sure the dogs are as comfortable as possible with me.
A typical day
I love to play tug, I can do a laser pointer if it doesn't make the dog too excited. Throwing the ball is always a blast. With cats, I understand the need to provide some sort of ending with laser pointer play. They need a physical toy, and then some food afterwards. You tell me the pet's favorite activity, and I'll help provide the same adventures.

Doggo Aunt to Help Your Family
Pet care experience
I've been an aunt of a husky/shepherd mix, and more recently a corgi. My favorite place to visit these days is the Stohl Dog Park. Seeing the different personalities and all the joy dogs have to run free and play is so fulfilling. I'd love to help you and your dog get some outdoor walks, no matter the weather. Snow doesn't scare me (I was born in ND). If you're comfortable with an off leash dog park, I'd love to let your sweet doggo enjoy that as well. Safety is important so please let me know if your dog is not as comfortable in an open dog park. I will also ensure that seat belts are used if we go to the park.

Reviews
Liz is wonderful with my kitty.

Fantastic work, the animals loved her.

Liz was awesome! She sent so many pictures and was very reassuring. Would highly recommend and would rebook if I lived here!

She was amazing with my dogs — so caring, patient, and attentive. She kept me updated with great communication and photos, which gave me total peace of mind. I’d absolutely book with her again and highly recommend her!
