Reviews

Liz always takes such good care of our pup with lots of love and attention! Great communication, pics, and updates throughout the stay. Would highly recommend!

Liz provided a wonderful home for our pup! Communication was excellent including easy drop off, pick up, and regular updates with pics. We could tell our dog was loved and well cared for while we were out of town. Would highly recommend!!

Our dog Honey had another wonderful stay with Liz! We can’t say enough great things about Liz, she has taken such great care of our dog, makes sure she’s always well fed, gets exercise outside and is comfortable. She always looks like she’s having fun in the pictures that Liz sends. We will definitely be asking Liz to help watch Honey again in the future. Thank you Liz!!

Liz was so sweet to take excellent care of our pup. She sent us updates and let us know how she was doing along the way. She was patient and loving towards our pup and gave her love and a safe space. We can’t wait to reach out to Liz again for a sleepover for our girl.

Experience: Since childhood, I have owned multiple dog breeds, cats, guinea pigs, hamsters, and rabbits. I also have experience caring for wallabies, turtles, fish, and birds. I have previous experience administering insulin and oral medications to cats and dogs. I have completed the Red Cross Cat and Dog First Aid Course. Meet & Greets for all new clients: I offer one free <30-minute M&G for every new client. Subsequent M&Gs and other visits such as key pick-ups & returns will be charged as a cost adjustment. Please inquire about pricing if subsequent visits are necessary. Drop-in & Walk Info: 1. Schedule: I work from home from 8:30a-4:30p, so I could drop in (or walk) mid-day during my lunch break depending on the distance. 2. My weekends are typically open, so I love to take dogs for long walks, weather permitting. Housesitting Info: 1. Schedule: If I am housesitting in your home, I will spend the night at your house and then head home to take care of my dog in the morning. I will drop back in mid-day and for dinnertime. Then I will return to your home for bedtime. If you are looking for constant care (i.e. staying at your home during the day rather than dropping in), please inquire about pricing. 2. I am happy to collect mail and newspapers, water indoor plants, take out the trash, etc. As a proponent of leash laws, I always walk dogs with a leash and suitable collar or harness. For clients who have backyards, I will make sure your pet is secure and never left outside without supervision. I do not take clients' dogs to dog parks. Boarding Policies: 1. M&Gs are an opportunity for you and your pup to tour my home and backyard. I do not introduce my dog during M&Gs. 2. Your dog must be crate-trained and bring their crate for their stay. I only crate dogs when they need a quick break or for their safety when I step out for an appointment/errand. 3. If you are a new client requesting a stay for 7 days or longer, then I typically require a "trial day" to ensure my home is a great fit for your pup! A "trial day" is 4-8 hours of daycare at my home for $15. 4. We are only able to board 2 dogs if their combined weight is under 70 pounds.
Information Liz B. would like to know about your pet
Before sitting a pet, I would like to know any special behaviors, prohibited toys/activities, and what s/he likes to do after a walk. I have no breed preferences - I have experience sitting dogs of all sizes from a Chihuahua to a Great Dane!
A typical day
I love going for walks through my neighborhood and finding green spaces for longer walks. Playing fetch and other games in the backyard is an excellent way for dogs to expend energy and get exercise.
