Full Time Dog Lover
I have had dogs, and cats, in my life, my entire life and I wouldn't want it any other way! Recently, I lost my beloved dog and now, dedicate myself to helping other fur babies of friends, family and Rover clients. After a long career in education, I am happily retired and available full-time to care for your fur babies.I have many years of experience working with Labrador Retrievers, mixed breeds, Golden Retrievers and Doodles. My fenced yard offers a great space for your pet to chase balls, sun bathe, and play in the puppy pool. I typically care for 1 pet at a time to offer the attention and care your fur baby deserves. I know what it takes to care for a senior dog, help him make his way through his golden years, and also, what a young, energetic pup needs in order to be happy...I have lived with both and it has been fun meeting the needs of two very different dogs. I believe in patience, rewards, but also in having solid expectations for our canine friends. Of course, exercise and playtime, along with cuddles and pets make for a happy dog.

Lisa has been my dog sitter for several years now and my dogs adore her. She is reliable, attentive and professional. My young lab has lots of energy and Lisa has always been happy to take her on long walks. Lisa often sends me photos of the dogs when she’s with them which is so great to see when I’m away! Lisa is a kind, compassionate animal lover with a big heart. She had a rescue dog named Diego, who lived to be 14 years old due to the expert care and love that she provided him. She currently cares for a new puppy and a cat that are in perfect health due to her constant attention. Lisa would make an excellent care giver/dog walker to any animal left in her charge. Dates de la garde
I am a retired teacher/administrator, so when I am booked, rest assured that my priority is taking good care of your pets, I have a fenced in backyard in the North Ward and there are plenty of toys at my house, along with great neighbourhood walks to be had and a cute park around the corner for plenty of sniffing!

My backyard is fenced so your dog will enjoy plenty of outside playtime in good weather. My home is dog friendly, complete with dog beds, blankets and plenty of toys. We will also go on walks if approved by you and a lovely park, with shade, is one block away from my house.

On a typical day, my dog plays in our yard after eating breakfast and then we start the day with a walk, and playing ball in our yard. We have a park very close by so it' s nice to walk through it and meet up with other dogs and their owners. Plenty of play time and then some rest, followed by an afternoon/evening walk. I also like go to the local trails , so if your dog becomes a regular client, we can discuss that optional adventure. Really, I would learn what your dog likes and go from there, after we chat about your preferences for exercise. We might also go for a car ride if your pup likes to do this and we have discussed this option at a later date.
