Home FT! Fun walks & LOTS of love!
I'm Lindsey, a stay-at-home mom with a life-long love of dogs. Being a stay-at-home mom allows me to be a stay-at-home dog sitter too, so your dog will rarely be alone! I live in a neighborhood that has nice places to walk, with a park across the street from our house. The best part though is that we live just a few minutes away from a number of open space trails. I take my dogs walking on these trails everyday, and I know your pup will love these adventures as much as my dogs do. You can look at my photos and see my two sweeties, Clover and Beastie. I have pics there of my human sweeties too, my husband and my two kids, now ages 17 & 20, who are dog lovers as well. We have plenty of room in our house for more canine company, your dog can have a little breathing room if he or she needs it, or (s)he can come join me for a cuddle on the couch. I know it can be a little stressful for dogs when their people are gone, so I'll do my best to make your dog's time with me like a little vacation, with fun walks and lots of love and belly rubs. Why I love dog sitting My love of animals has been a huge part of who I am since I was a child. It led me to work for a time after college as an adoption counselor at the Denver Dumb Friends League and as an employee at a Colorado Springs animal shelter as well. I grew up with cats, and loved them to pieces, but I've been a devoted dog owner for more than two decades now. I can't imagine life without them! Meet my pets We have two dogs, Clover & Beastie. Clover is a young pug. She's goofy and playful but loves cuddle time on the couch. Beastie is a funny little Chihuahua. He barks at dogs when he first meets them, as Chihuahuas are prone to do, but he gets over that quickly and then is his happy little self. About my yard We have a large U-shaped yard that surrounds our house. Our fence is 3' tall. If there's any concern that your dog might jump the fence, I'll happily take your pup out on a leash or closely supervised. My experience administering medication Yes, I've given dogs subcutaneous injections, pills, eye drops, and ear medication.

Lindsey is always incredibly easy and flexible when my flight plans changed unexpectedly and at the very last minute. My pup was eager to spend time at their house and was happy and peaceful upon my return. She makes sure my dog gets the proper exercise he needs everyday with photos to help me know he's happy. I absolutely recommend Lindsey and her family!
Lindsey was fantastic with our dog Boomer! She was attentive, reliable, and clearly loves animals. Boomer came home happy and well cared for, and we appreciated the regular updates and photos. We felt totally at ease knowing he was in such good hands. Highly recommend Lindsey to anyone looking for a caring and trustworthy sitter!

I am home full time so taking care of the dogs and being a mom is what I do so the dogs get lots of attention here.

The dogs get time outside, walks, playtime, and of course lots of time curled up on the couch with me getting petted and adored. :)

Here's where we'll take our walks We live in a neighborhood with bike trails and a park across the street. We also live close to a number of great open space trails and 5 different dog parks. Lots of opportunities for fun! Your dog's sleeping arrangement Wherever your dog is happiest... our bed, the couch, one of our dog beds, or feel free to bring your dog's bed, crate, or whatever will make him or her feel cozy and content. Time I'll spend with your dog As a stay-at-home mom, I have LOTS of time to spend with the puppies (lucky me!). If your dog likes walks, I take my dogs on good ones every day, usually for 30-90 minutes, out on trails with creeks, other dogs to meet, and room to run. If you have an smaller, shyer, older, or arthritic dog, I'm happy to adjust the walks as needed.
