I am passionate about animal care and welfare and strive to treat each pet under my care as if they were my own. My experience over the years makes me able to care for dogs and cats of all ages and sizes. I am comfortable administering medications, giving diets, cleaning, exercising and training as well! Frosted faces who are living life in the slow lane through zealous young pups and kitties bouncing off the walls, I’ll care for them all! For checking and caring for pets in a clients home I always make sure to follow instructions carefully and rely on my sound decision making to ensure pet safety is a priority. I like to scope out the environment to make sure where all possible escape routes can occur and to maintain thorough and consistent communication with pet parents and families.

For pet care in a clients home I always make sure to follow instructions closely. I make sure doors that are meant to be closed are fully closed, kennels and enclosures are properly latched, unsafe items are not within reach and always make sure to have emergency contacts available.

Lindsay was so amazing with our cat! He has been sick and needing extra attention and prescription food and she knew exactly what to do and kept us updated the entire time we were gone. We were stressed about leaving him and she made us feel so comfortable! We will definitely be booking her again and highly recommend :)

Lindsay was great! Being in a wheelchair and not able to inject my dog I hired her for the weekend my son was on vacation she did a great job and even though my dog was grumpy getting a shot she was extremely kind and soft spoken and did her best to relax him. I would recommend Lindsay to anyone who needed animal help
Lindsey may have thought that I was joking when I told her that our little menagerie was a zoo! It was a big job for one person, but Lindsey was willing to take on the responsibility and she cared for our family of critters and plants as if they were her own. She communicated with us as often as was needed and even responded timely to texts from a different time zone. Our cranky older dog, crazy chihuahuas, puppy, and cats were fed, medicated and cared for not only according to our directions but also with genuine affection. She observed the eating and sleeping patterns of both our dogs and cats and let us know if anything was out of the norm. Although Rover doesn’t have a section for reptile or amphibian care, (we did compensate Lindsey for this as well as caring for our plants outside of Rover) Lindsey had no problem taking care of our bearded dragon, mourning geckos and dart frog (even though it involved feeding live insects). Coming home from a week away can be a bit overwhelming but Lindsey looked after our pets and plants with care and responsibility. AND we came home to a yard free of doggie landmines, clean litter boxes, indoor and outdoor plants alive (in over 100 degree weather!), a tidy home just as we left it, and even the linens from the guest room halfway through the laundry cycle! When we need a pet/home sitter again, Lindsey will be first on our list.

Schedule
I work a regular schedule Monday through Friday 8-3 but with summer approaching as a teacher my schedule will free up. I will still have daily commitments that can take up to 4 hours of time but other than that I am happy to provide bathroom breaks, walks, playtime, and more!
