My love of all animals has been with me from being a farmers daughter.have had horses and travelled extensively we rescued our dog from Tenerife and she drove the 3 days with us through Spain France and back to the uk. I’m married and live with my husband, we are lucky to both being retired and enjoy gardening and looking after our 5 grandchildren. We live across the rd from the most beautiful beech and have dungeness for fabulous wildlife and great walks. We now also have two rescued hens which supply us with fresh eggs of a morning and grow our vegetables as would love to at some point have our own small holding. Now I would just like to add the reason I wish to dog sit is that I hate leaving our dog at a kennel as she is a very special needs girl who needs a soft warm place to sleep with human contact and cuddles and I find most kennels can’t provide her with this, so this is why we want to help others with the same view as us.

How lucky we were! I feel so happy and lucky to have found Linda on Rover. My dogs had a great time and were beautifully looked after. In fact, my Frenchie tried to go back into Linda's house instead of coming home with me. I found Linda to be very experienced with dogs and very knowledgeable too. I will definitely send my dogs to her again.
My nervous rescue cross Mackie spent a trial overnight stay with Linda and Steve earlier this week. I am delighted to say that everything went really well, Linda and Steve were really sensitive to Mackie's "special" needs. Linda sent me a couple of updates through the stay which was very reassuring. I feel happy and confident for Mackie to stay with Linda and Steve again when we go away on our hols in a few weeks. Knowing that Mackie will be happy and well-cared for while we are away is a weight off my shoulders. Thank you Linda and Steve, see you soon!
Very happy with this service both a lovely couple looked after my girls great 🐶 First time letting them stay with anyone but me so was very worried but they had a great time. Linda kept me updated the hole time with messages and pictures which was lovely definitely recommend them I will be using them again.
Linda and Steve were amazing. They understood that my boy has his quirks and treated him like their own. Linda kept me updated everyday and was nice to see he felt at home. Thank you both, Beau will be back xx

Schedule
Now retired so my days are free to do what I won’t,I like to go on long walks have the grandchildren and go to the gym. We lost our dog at Christmas so we have a large void in our lives and want to fill the gap by looking after your pets.

We have a garden with a high fence for the safety of your pet with lots of open spaces around us for walks and play time.
A typical day
I love running around playing fetch and throwing the ball. We can go for long or short walks. Or just laz around the house . We have the sea on our door step so if your dog likes to swim this will be a great place to stay for there holiday.
